This is all going to lead to Bray Wyatt turning on Matt hardy in a few months and going back to his usual nonsense

Brock Lesnar Guy is attending while Brock Lesnar is missing.

That was a terrible Raw. They know people will tune into the Raw after Mania so they don’t even bother trying anymore.

Yeah I agree. Felt a bit flat throughout really

Feel bad for Reigns as none of his predicament is his fault. Maybe I got worked but you could feel his genuine anger during the segment and during Joe's promo.

Why would Reigns get a rematch ever for the Universal title?

He's been Brock's bítch forever, and has lost twice at Wrestlemania. It makes no sense for him to face Reigns again.

For all WWE moan about the "non traditional crowd", the reality is they boo and cheer the "correct" people by and large. Ronda, Seth, even Nia, got big receptions as earned by their Mania wins. The debuts are brought up because the crowd sell them like stars. The only massive "change" in crowd reactions to the more traditional ones is Reigns gets massively booed. Far from a drastic flip that WWE try and pretend it is, the reality is the Raw after Mania crowd tend to just be louder with the same reactions they get everywhere else, and so sometimes its hard to ignore.

Still, while some might dislike the smarky elements of the crowd, here's the truth; WWE try harder for that crowd than any other crowd for the rest of the year.

Thats not to say they succeed. But because that crowd is known for going off script if bored, WWE have a 3 hour show that is chocked full of twists and turns. They know they cant have bugger all filler, and they work to keep the crowd amused out of fear what will happen if they don't. You can give out about the crowd "trying to get themselves over", but everyone knows to tune in to that Raw. Everyone knows you're getting shocks and returns.

If every crowd showed half that hunger, demanded half as much as that one does, WWE would be forced to try harder more routinely, instead of constantly having missable, dead-rubber weeks/months.

I mean guessing Brawn to Smackdown now, hence why he dropped the title without demanding a rematch.

    Finn and/or Jeff too

Miz as well, I'm guessing. Though that could mess up their ladder match story. Maybe save him till the draft in a few weeks.

Felt genuinely terrible for Paige. She’s had such a ****ty time lately. Self inflicted some of it but still sucks.

The reaction Elias got was great. He’s got a great gimmick.

Wasnt a great after mania Raw compared to previous years, Ronda badass again, apart from the smiles, for me i'd like to see less smiling along with her aggression, still think that sort of character could do with Heyman.

Elias is great but hes nearly in the same position as Rusev, hes getting himself over and that wont go down well.

As for the "surprises" Bobby Lashley, meh for me, no interest there, love Ember Moons finisher, good to see AOP show up but after mania, the tag titles mean nothing so its hard to get excited about that division to be honest.

No surprise that Lesnar wasnt there, what an excellant way to promote his new contract and the fact hes staying around, finally, delighted to see Joe back, they should give that man the push he needs.

    .

They're playing out the Ronda vs Steph thing exactly like Austin vs Vince.

He was loving it but trying not to show it too much.

Elias is perfect at the moment. He gets a lot of time on screen and even though he gets beat up by everyone it’s done in a really fun way.

So Lashley is not going to the main event scene straight away

    The man is a beast

And he's a charisma vacuum. Not great in ring either.

I have no desire to see Choc Lesnar back in WWE

Bobby was really good in TNA. Glad he is getting a chance and that he should make money from WWE's need for diversity considering how he left them.

Joe would be a great in WWE, but he keeps getting hurt. Genuine shame they were not willing to give guys like him a chance back in the day.

I think the crowd should have respected Stephanie McMahon.

You won’t be delighted soon when Joe will be fed to Reigns as part of his first title defence at Backlash.

Why do WWE insist on ruining so many things by making people not care?

Brock for example, he should turn up any time he likes, kick ass and leave. He did not need to hold the title for a year and highlight how often he is away. Saying he us staying on, but he was not on RAW, then gaving to set up a non title bout as the main RAW angle just makes people even more apathetic towards Brock.

For a Mania ending, Brock should have been the challenger. If Roman was champ since last Summer winning a multi person bout so Brock did not really lose to him. As said on boards, Reigns needs a good dominant run as Champ to make prople think Champ when they see him.

Brock randomly showed up to beat on folks, unadvertised, to make him look good on TV or PPV. Unadvertised he entered and won the Rumble.

Two lads battered each other in main event with a Brock win. Fans would be happy to see Reigns lose and for Brock to have won.

Fans geuinely happy rather than surprised.

That was a fcuking awful RAW the one night a year they know they have a real crowd for RAW and that understands wrestling and wants to participate in the event and they throw that sh1t out at them!

No i wont but thats why i said "they should" i know they wont, he'll be upper card looking good without accomplishing much in the end, in the way of a title that is, while Reigns Lesnar and now Lashley, are in the main event spots

Glad I avoided the thread last night. Lashley's name being dropped every few posts would have really wrecked the surprise for me.

i dont think anyone knew for certain he was returning but the rumours have been out there for a month or more ever since he left impact in the tapings back in february i think. same tapings that EC3 finished up

Fair enough but rumours can be avoided. Squared Circle on reddit uses spoilers to great effect I find. Having them posted literally an hour before the show is a melt.

Fair play to you. Sick of names getting dropped non stop before stuff happens. Predictions and guesses to beat the band. Leave something to the imagination!

I mentioned him yesterday afternoon but it wasn't cause I had read anything new. It was guess work based on the fact the Raw after Mania always has surprise debuts. it was long rumoured, right as he left Impact, that last night was the most likely debut time. The genuine spoilers didn't start till right before the show.

"I don't know why they keep putting me in matches with Brock Lesnar but if they keep giving me title shots, it's only going to end one way; me as Universal champion."

Who the hell wrote that line? It's so bad I don't even know where to start with it.

I feel like I'm on my own with this but I wouldn't be going mad about Ronda in the ring just yet

Very good for a beginner obviously, but at the same time she will have been able to practice the match for prob the last 2 months, some of her bits on Raw with the likes of Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose came off fairly sloppy

I'd be holding off any mad praise until we see her doing in week in week out
