I think it's similar to how we make really distasteful jokes with friends that we wouldn't make with a stranger-and that's just camaraderie, in a way.
It's when social cues aren't read, or when you don't know the personal humour of a person, that you don't make those jokes/ comments. Also, one can have a 'dry' sense of humour that one person will pick up on, and another will think is you saying something seriously-which has happened to me more than once, and you quickly have to clarify your position.

This is different to groping, for sure-even putting your hand on someone's shoulder as a reassurance can also be interpreted in a sinister way by someone who's not a close friend.

Williams clearly knew what he was doing-as other's said, it was nothing compared to Weinstein and co.

Well, looks like the chickens have come home to roost - Nickelodeon has ended their deal with Dan Schneider. According the Deadline, there's been a 'cloud of suspicion' over Schneider for the last few years. But it seems his 'temper' is part of the reason for his firings.

According to studies, victims of sexual abuse/ molestation, usually seek help ten years after the abuse ends, usually in their twenties. Then speak out after that.

This would coincide many of Schneider's shows...possible some starlets have come forward? Probably.

I don't think Nickelodeon firing him now is going to help considering the network allegedly knew what was going on. For years. I wonder what's going to happen.

I think Bella Thorne's revelations she was molested started people questioning 'who' her abuser was. (I'm not saying it was Schneider, since she worked for the House of Mouse).
Which only further shone a light on abuse happening within TV. I imagine many more will come forward. But not all of them.

Wonder if he has as many victims as Dr Nassar, the gymnastics dr/ molester.

As for the difficult year, JLS daughter had a rough time due to an accident last year. Wonder if that triggered her possibly coming forward. There were questions as to the parentage of her kid.

Well if we can just name names on here, it's supposed to be ariana grande. The difficult year was in relation to the Manchester bombing. Apparently she has had to get intensive therapy and all this other stuff was brought up. Plenty of creepy photos around of her with Schneider.
