Dublin 18 / Leopardstown continuing the trend we've seen all day with pretty much no snow whatsoever. :pac:

Clearing up in D5 now but looks like there's a bit more on the way. Those of you that are missing out are so unlucky.

Absolutely biblical here. The drifting is amazing. Never seen anything like it here.

Lucky you. Nothing here in South Dublin/ north Wicklow
Heartbreaking stuff after this mornings start

Jeez missing out here today in Kilcullen Co Kildare, the shift to a more easterely wind sees us about 20 miles to the south of a big streamer line. Angelsey rain shadow very noticeable

Have you a supply of orange golf balls for the weekend?

Does it absolutely infuriate anyone else when people say "ah Ireland is so dramatic, Canada/Poland/Austria get this weather all the time"?

Eh yes but that is their climate. Absolutely head wrecking.
Yes 100%. A friend from the US has been complaining all day on FB that we're all 'crazy'.

The northside must be like a different planet to the southside.

Square root of fcuk all in Firhouse since this morning but what fell last night night and earlier has held admirably. Hoping for bucketfuls tonight.

    Rather Ironic :)

Are the current falls in Dublin coming over in an arc that avoids me or something?

I am in the path for Maynooth, Lucan, Ph Park, all mentioned, but nothing here. Radar says it should happen, but it hasn't. Very localised it seems.

I have 4 family members and a load of friends and in-laws that were supposed to fly out to Vegas tomorrow also. Disappointed for them.

Lamp post watching is well and truly over for me - all the windows are frozen and covered in snow. Heavy falls last night, this morning and non stop for the last 4 hours - can’t imagine what tomorrow will bring!! - Tullamore

It's quite unreal, it's the same here in Edenderry all day showers and now 4 hours of constant snow. Could be a very intersing 48 hours.

Kilcock seeing a lot of action this evening. Snowing lots too.
