If I remember correctly, the Garda picked up either the Kinahan's or associates of the Kinahan's at Dublin Airport and gave them an armed escort to a safe house while they were here to attend the funeral of David Byrne following the Regency Hotel attack.

I don't recall seeing any such VIP treatment for the Monk when he came back to attend the funeral of his brother Eddie Hutch?

One could be forgiven for thinking that even the law of the land are taking sides in this feud.

The Monk came in via belfast thats why.

Don’t pay any attention sheriff. Some posters have nothing whatsoever to offer on any thread except to moan and whine about it, critise other posts, bitch about other posters. Nothing interesting to say themselves, just going around putting other people down.

Seems Gemma O'Doherty is on the case

Garda hack Paul Williams had a close relationship with gangland detective Colm Fox. Det Supt Fox was at the peak of his career when he allegedly took his own life in Ballymun Station this weekend

In poor taste I think myself. Some of her followers have it down as a murder.

It was on Daniel Kinahans Twitter account but DKs account has since been deleted.Seems it rumbled DK a bit.

This is the twitter account the Sun was talking about https://twitter.com/Johnsmi84534254

But seems to have been stopped in his tracks https://twitter.com/Catmac79756484

And this is the account mentioned by a poster above, claims to be an "ex-lover" of some gangland figures, she names them but I will keep the names off boards... Can anybody shed some light on who "frank" is? most of her tweets relate to him https://twitter.com/Regencycoverup

There is some pretty interesting posts from these guys, and they have tagged the accounts of certain people supposedly involved

it would rock the foundation of the state if it was murder

In a development which will come as a surprise to nobody, it would now appear that the new CEO of MTK, who appeared on camera last week decrying the Irish media's 'unfair' coverage of MTK given that it is under entirely new management, has actually been involved with the company for years and has also been an acquaintance of Daniel Kinahan himself for a long time. Apparently her ex husband was actually a victim of a gangland abduction at some point years back, and she now has a different surname which is why nobody could find anything on her claimed business expertise when Googling her.

It's a Sun article and the guy who tweeted it is a Daily Star journalist so obviously take with a whole haep of salt, but puts an interesting perspective on the "we have no further business ties and are under entirely new management" stuff last week. Might make it fairly difficult to maintain the "unfair media" stuff, which IMO was an absolutely massive miscalculation in terms of PR. They were better off not commenting on it at all, anything they said was realistically guaranteed to just ignite further curiosity and rumours than actually convince everyone that they're the victims of a smear campaign.

My bad, had it in my head that it was indeed The Sun but you're absolutely right. Is it just me, or does the Sunday World tend to have a decent level of insight into these gangland stories? I'd assign more credibility to them than most red tops, tbh

Just had a look at that twitter handle, bizarre to say the least, same tweets over and over and my ass it’s a global security service, sounds more like someone tweeting from their bedroom in Dublin

Its a strange one, they have a pretty legit looking website, which has nothing linking the company to Dublin
    http://www.specialist-securityservices.com/

Yeah it’s odd indeed but if the Twitter account was from a legitimate business they would NOT be tweeting that stuff over and over they would be tweeting about their business, tweeting that would not attract new clients! It’s someone with a grudge, a solo person I would say.
