You're welcome Jeff, because we paid for your sojourn.
You do deserve a break, why don't you sit on your backside for a while.
    Oh wait.....

He went to Dublin and letterkenny with the integrity Ireland boys ... two years of travel right there ... all expenses to the taxpayer

In all fairness; I'd suggest that Jeff and some of his fans on Facebook be dealt with in a different manner than Jobpath. There's some difficult cases out there, and while Jeff is a man who can annoy the best of us, there's obviously underlying issues that don't make them attractive candidates to an employer. His relentless enthusiasm must be a selling point in some sector of the economy?

At the end of the day, he just wants to make his mark. He thinks this political party and endless updates against jobpath are what gives him status. I'd love to see him get some sort of fulfilling role, and post more updates about how happy he is to have a home, children, and loving partner.

Here's a potential opening for him... involves relocation, but nice climate and decent salary

Funny one on the UP FB page. It's the usual guff of "Sack'm! Chaaaaange! Neeew Paaaaarty". But the message is put beside a picture of a young woman doctor in her scrubs smiling at the camera.

There was an item in Pat Kenny's show on Monday. He was paraphrasing a judge who was asking a woman about her job status. She was looking after 6 kids and was "earning" 55k P.A from state benefits. The judge worked it out with his quill that a PAYE workers would probably be needing to be in a job that makes 120k gross P.A. to get 55k. (So this wasn't my maths, I'm just going on PK's word on what he thinks the judge said).

Having a quick look I see that a junior doctor's pay in Ireland starts at 30k rising to 79k for senior specialists (excluding allowances).

Some fecking neck thinking that someone who gives their school years to the books to earn the points to do 6year+ of tough studying University, followed by 6+years of moderate pay in really tough working conditions followed by continual training and upskilling in a specialised field to still earn less than someone who did nothing with their lives for 12 years.

There certainly is something wrong with this scenario in society and I doubt very much if a young doctor thinks United People has the answers.

Is UnitedPeople now a one-man operation again? Don’t hear much from Alistair these days, and it doesn’t look like this Damian Fagan chap is a member. One can’t help but feel that the high-point of Rudd’s political career was when he played the role of Penfold to Ben Gilroy’s Dangermouse in DDI. The dramatic split between Jeff and the Enda D. Reynolds faction was a fatal blow to UnitedPeople, and it has never recovered.

You can probably link his professional problems with his political ones. I can only imagine trying to be his boss.

He probably left his phone somewhere and needs to wait to get it back ... or he’s in the cinema for a Star Wars marathon

    Stats.
    .
In July 2015 the Irish Independent reported that there were 565 families living in homeless accommodation. 490 of them alone were in the nation’s capital, Dublin, the heart of Irish government and Dail.
    .
As of October 2017, according to official state numbers there was in increase to 690 families staying in emergency accommodation. This family number consisted of 8,374 actual people in emergency accommodation – 3,124 of which were children holed up in the likes of Bed and Breakfasts etc.

    Ground breaking journalism

The poor lad is probably still reeling after the latest polls were published. How could the majority not have the same level of disdain and hatred he has towards Leo ... how has is persistent spamming of all social media not knocked Leo off his perch !!

I'm a bit confused trying to marry legalese and Ruddese.

The case yesterday concerning Damien Fagan V. DSP ruled that the DSP acted unfairly/illegally in suspending Damien's benefits. It was shown that Damien had met with his appointments but refused to sign a contract with Seetec. This contract isn't legally enforceable and the receiving of benefits shouldn't depend on signing the Seetec contract

So the court ruled that he didn't need to sign a contract with Seetec to continue claiming benefits. All he was required to do was engage with and fulfil his appointments with his DSP case worker etc. which he was doing. I think that's the gist of it?

But what's all this about continuing on the case to the Supreme Court? What I think I'm reading via Jeff is that the DSP acted illegally and they should face charges for suspending Damien's benefits.

So it's off to the Supreme Court to press charges against the DSP?...or something?

I don’t think there has been any judgement yet. Think Rudd is blowing smoke out his hole.

The only thing certain about this case is that ultimately it's the taxpayer that will be footing the bill regardless of who wins.

Saw a comment on FB about it. Basically someone went to court over the right not to work or be forced to seek employment. No wonder Jeff is all over it like a rash.

He’ll have a hernia when he sees the latest opinion poll figures.

He’ll have a hernia when he sees the latest opinion poll figures.

He just reverse everything, so if 32% are in favour then 68% are against. It's how he usually operates. To make it worse he ll add the figures that support the alphabet soup parties to make his claims all the more valid.

In relation to the case he's referring to, I checked the High Court records on it.

Leave to seek a judicial review was refused on Friday 26/1/18. The standard to be met in order to be granted leave to seek a judicial review is quite low.

I doubt this will trouble the Supreme Court in any meaningful way.

Courts website says "26/01/2018 Judicial Review Final Refused" but no other details.

Any idea what the cost of a day in the Supreme Court runs to?
Somewhere north of six figures I'd imagine.

Some neck on these chancers squandering taxpayer's money on frivolous court cases.
