KTFR radio here reporting from the town of Kingston Falls, where residents have come up with a novel solution to a plague of little green men. Local residents today took Frank and strapped them to the goalposts in the local ice hockey rink for a fun family penalty shootout. Little Billie Taylor was the star, catching the unfortunate right in the bread bin three times in succession.

    Frank has been lynched.

Frank (5) - Jake, Mary, Isla, Desmond, Barbara
    Gertrude (2) - Holly, Frank
    Mary (1) - Gertrude
    No vote (1) - Abigail

But none of us know any of this and all we know is that he was passed fit medically to play. So anything more than that is mere speculation. The Doctors passed him fit. The Packers are happy to play him and from what it seems Rodgers wants to play. That is all that matters here.

That is their call as his employer.

Dont know anything about and also dont know the history of his doctors and if they passed him fit so I wont comment.

I am not talking about planning for the future here. Every team does that with or without injury to players. Every team has a backup plan and plans for the eventual need for the team. The unknown I am referring to are the what ifs, what if he gets injured, what if we sit him and keep him on IR, what if we play him where does that leave us in 2018. Those what ifs. Very few sports teams live by those what ifs when it comes to injury especially when doctors or the medical profession give the green light.

    You dont say.

Indeed I also state it is all speculation. Murray was fit to play but knew he was at a higher risk of injury.

Being declared fit to play does not mean that the doctors did not also say if further rest would be advisable or not. To me the correct decision comes down to this.

I do not know if this is the case. Nor have I claimed it. Everything is a what if and all teams live by them. Yeah teams tend to put stars back on the field as soon as they can hobble. Not always the best call and I feel doctors should get stricter here. Again I have no idea if it is required in this case.

I read this way too many times wondering if it had something to do with the Jets or maybe the Packers with the little green men comment.

Most likely a mispost for a Mafia game.

Marvin Lewis going at the end of the season.

Jumping before he's pushed I'd imagine.

    Not before time.

EDIT - apparently the Bengals have been "caught off card" by the news.

Someone posted this about the injury Luck has over on reddit.
Luck frayed and tore his glenoid labrum in his shoulder which is no joke and absolutely has potential to end a QBs career. It's perhaps the worst injury that can happen to someone who throws a ball for a career.

The shoulder joint is like a golf ball on a tee, with the labrum being the tee. A torn labrum is basically when the head of the "tee" shatters and if it doesn't heal just right the ball might never be able to properly sit in the socket again. Even if it heals these type of injuries can lead to things like numbness in the arm after a couple throws, loss in velocity on throws, severe pain when throwing. Occasionally you will have guys like Drew Brees who are able to fully recover, but the majority of the time the player is never the same if they come back at all.

Just gives an idea of what he potentially may be up against. Man, I'll be gutted if Luck can't come back from this.

Jerry Richardson is going to step down as the Panthers owner as the NFL is going to investigate some of his dickhead behavior as owner. Obviously Richardson is stepping down to put an end to the NFL investigation so all his skeletons in his closet aren't dug up.

One of the skeletons is him using saying the N word at a black scout on the team. What a surprise, the owner who was very against the players kneeling during the national anthem is a racist

Zach Miller who almost lost his leg this season, just posted a video of him walking: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bc0ehb0FuoL/?taken-by=zmiller86

Diddy's got an estimated net worth of approx $800mn. And the Panthers are currently valued at $2.3bn. So aside from anything else that might be a slight financial speedbump for him.

If he's worth 800m he can easily get the financing to buy a 2.3billion club.

With a net worth of only $800mn he'd be the third poorest NFL owner based on current estimates - and thats including plenty of teams valued at far less than the Panthers.

He'll struggle to outbid other actual billionaires if they go up for sale.

Not to mention he can form a consortium of buyers too to help finance it. Steph Curry immediately expressed interest in getting involved.

When you look at some of the clown owners like Jim Irsay, Daniel Snyder and Jerry Richardson or all the ones who just inherited their teams, P Diddy if he can afford it, probably couldn't be a bigger clown than most of them and he would be the one owner who could represent a 80% African American league.

With his contacts he wouldnt struggle at all IMO. In fact just like Magic and the Dodgers the Panthers may be a match made in heaven for Diddy.

Doesn't Diddy also run a sports agency representing players?

It'd be great to see him buy the team and change some of the makeup in the NFL.

Never gonna happen. Their's is the richest (and whitest..!!) old boys club in the country. They'd never let a hip hop star in. Especially one who has said he'd bring back Kaepernick.

Some NASCAR bloke has said he's interested too. He'd be more up their street.

It probably won't happen. I think reason No1 will be that he'll be over bid. But the others reason..... you covered.
