As a southsider, I'm not familiar with Saint Annes Park - what is/was that structure?

    Its all HERE

Sorry if I seem like I'm giving you a short answer but you'd get it better if you know the history of the park.

If anyone is out along the Clontarf cycle path its well worth going into the park, its beautiful.

I've a few more photos which I'll post.

Perfect. A welcome educational read (beats working on the lead up to a bank holiday weekend!)

A couple of photos taken at the Brú na Bóinne Visitor Centre at Newgrange on our club spin this morning. Never got above 5 degrees on the way there but briefly touched 10 degrees on the way back to Swords.

Kippure Saturday afternoon. Was hammered with 3 waves of intense sleet nearing the top without warning which beat me back. Really getting the feel for the new bike and really value the efficiency!

Crappy iPhone (and my lack of photography skills) doesn't do it justice.

Beautiful light and composition and the right bike for the conditions too.

Did you have a tripod with you or an assistant?

Thanks, I was very lucky with the light that day. Just tripod and timer.

Whats that track like that you're on? Is it just that little section or is it a full trail? Looks amazing.

The track runs for a few km from Glenveagh to Gartan. Part of a very nice loop with a good amount of off-road. This is the route https://www.strava.com/routes/6428661

Glencullen area today - beautiful and the roads weren't particularly precarious. Originally tried to go up the Killakee Road - the whole way up was totally gridlocked with traffic presumably all the way to the Hellfire Club or Viewpoint and couldn't get through (see 3rd photo). Gave up and took the Mount Venus - Cruagh Road way to Glencullen.

Top marks to whoever identifies the pilot.
Edit -clue. Correct answer will most likely be supplied by an audaxer.
