The same question is asked every time an aircraft goes on an air test ex-SNN!

They're becoming more and more common now in SNN, don't worry, another one will probably be along soon!

I wish they'd send over the 225, it's been too long since that paid a visit.

It has just passed north of me here in London. First time I have noticed this, it appears to have a strobe light on the nose and another on the tail?

Apologies, got it mixed up with the volga that came in the other day.

Well she's at 2,000 ft. Tell them to put on the spuds.

The antonov pilot didn't seem too happy with Shannon ATC when he called him by the callsign volga

just looking at Iraq on fr24, is it not strange to have a RAF flight circling with transponder on?

The RAF A330s seem to transmit most, if not all, of the time, including when on operational tasks.

Ops at Dublin gone to RWY 16. Anyone know why?

Happened at 5 on the dot so I'd say it could well be the walking inspection of 28.

Wind is 200/11kt gusting 26kts, once it’s gusting over 15kt they have to change

I thought it was mean speed 15kts, must be mistaken.

No gusts mentioned in the 5/5:30 METAR's so I ruled it out personally and didn't put it in my OP.

Switched back to 28, I'd wager it was a scheduled change (probably for the runway walking inspection). Could well be proved wrong though!

Don't think it was weather either. I've seen 28 being used in far less favourable conditions than those of today!!

Is there an issue with weather in Cork at the moment?

Some low vis, however it's not that low.

I can't see any aircraft having landed or been scheduled to do so in over an hour, can I ask what are you seeing?

EI845 AMS-ORK squeaking 7700 over Wales and diverting to somewhere in the UK, I'd guess Southampton.

Doubt it will land in Southampton short runway and lots of restriction. I think it will go to Bristol.
Hope all is okay on board

It's turned now so looks like CWL/BRS.

I've seen a few land at SOU before, hence my guess.
