I don't do this. I think that my boiling of a full kettle for a cup of tea wastes electricity.

    banned

just kidding, in my office the kettle is always on the go, so there will always be someone along to pick up where you left off.

Oh and f*ck the rain and traffic

TA - ,my husbands phone is an asshole. Occasionally the alarm on it won't switch off, it freezes the phone and nothing will respond. 7am this morning he was pegging it out of the room with the phone wrapped in a tshirt and both of us roaring at the stupid thing.
Not sure whether to go out and buy him a new phone or start divorce proceedings. Will see how this coffee goes...

That really made me lol. I'll gently suggest starting with the new phone and then think about the new husband :D

Annoyed myself this morning. Had planned on getting up early, have breakfast and a spin into work with plenty of time to spare... alarm goes off, snooze. Alarm goes off, snooze. Alarm goes off and now I'm at the normal time of getting up and really need to make a move. Snooze. Alarm goes off, now I'm late

    -_-

Think there's an intruder in my bathroom. Forgot to close the window last night. About 7am I woke up to a bang. Didn't know if it happened or I dreamed it but when I went into bathroom my cleanser was knocked over onto the floor from the window sill.

NOTHING I do is ever good enough for my boss. If I do something wonderful, it is met with silence. If I f*ck up, I'm pulled straight away. Ok we are all adults, there's nobody expecting gold f*cking stickers on their homework for effort, but an occasional "well done" or "good job" would be nice. If you never hear "well done" you start to wonder if you've ever done well :(

Even a thank you would go a long way.

Gardaí posting social media pictures showing drivers they've caught. Would you ever f*ck off. I don't post social media photos of myself doing my job or my completed tasks.

    ^ Surely that's a personal data breach?
I'd be fired if I did something like that in my job.

Sorry I should have been clearer. They post things like pictures of cars with fake insurance disks, bad parking speedometer records etc.

Been working like a slave, forced to take time off today.
Have to have my phone on cause friends and family are on what's app, my uni colleagues are having a meltdown on it too and my phone is beep beep beep cause I dont know how to turn off that thread.

A friend of a friend is determined to follow some random guy to his home in the middle east, she has no clue how things are there for women and would probably accuse anyone who tells her of lying.

I assume ONW is talking about the official Garda social media accounts. They blur out/omit identifying details so the people caught are not identifiable.

I don't have any issues with it - some of the crap people get up to deserves naming and shaming. If it serves as a deterrent at all then fair play. (And sometimes it's quite funny :))

Getting angry with someone in April, it's almost October and they're still sniffing round waiting for me to calm down. I'm perfectly calm, still hate them though. Go away and get on with your life

No I find it funny too, and I have zero respect for idiotic motorists, I think just at a high level it annoys me that anyone would feel the need to post social media photos of their jobs. :)

Someone just plonked behind me in a lecture and is chomping down on some foul smelling mouldy foot long from subway. Chewing with his mouth open as well. Hope ya choke

A carefully directed elbow might help that.

I went across to the shop to buy something for lunch. I was queuing up to pay and I realised I'd left my money back at work. Had to do the walk of shame replacing the goods and walking out empty handed. Behind me in the queue was someone from work too....:o

Person in Thurles shopping centre - when my reversing lights are on and I'm moving backwards slowly it should occur to you that I might be reversing into the parking space, so you might just pause for a few seconds and not come close enough to set my reversing yokies to red which means very close, holding me and you up longer than was necessary. Better still consider walking or the bus.

(on a TH note the eir shop was open and got sorted)
