Inexplicable, I can't come up with one justifiable reason for this, but something really irks me when I hear Irish people refer to Los Angeles as "L.A".

According to my teen I'm a bad mother because I won't give him a day off tomorrow and none of his class will be in school because the new FIFA game is coming out.Also I'm terrible because I won't go to the shop and collect it for him at midnight tonight...the constant whinging is beyond annoying and I've a good mind not to collect it til the weekend.

If you want to really teach him a lesson, don't collect it for him until the following weekend, that way his friends will have a solid weekend of online gaming and he'll be playing catchup!

Having a conversation via text with someone and unless them or their kids is the conversation, you don't get a reply until the next time they've to talk about themselves.

People who put up memes on facebook constantly about having OCD and their strive to have everything perfect but you go to their homes and you're afraid to sit down because it's so untidy, why don't you go put a meme up about that?

went to the dr fri night with a kidney infection and had him look in my ear while I was there, a fungal infection in my ear that he gave me cream for. Went home and googled the anti biotics and they are also used to treat ghonorrea, but didn't google the cream. Saturday the pharmacist said that to be careful while on anti biotics as pill isn't effective and said in re: to the cream that barrier methods of contraceptives wouldn't be reliable. I was like oh right ok and paid and left. Turns out that cream is used for fungal infections south of my ear. I was thinking how could cream in my ear make condoms ineffective. He probably thinks I'm pure riddled

Bought a great pair of jeans and noted the brand and model name. Ordered more online. Not remotely similar. Not sure whether they are even jeans, only 75% denim. And size is right but somehow wrong, I'm drowning in them.

Bought a tin opener. It works. Half the time. The rest of the time it gouges a track in the side wall of the tin, or won't lock onto the tin.

I've a first world TA. I really fancy some soup but I don't like eating out of spoons in restaurants. Knives and forks I'm grand with. There's just something about spoons I don't like and need my own ones. Maybe I could try eating soup with a fork

was late getting home on Saturday afternoon from somewhere and needed to grab a quick roll for lunch. The Q in the local subway always takes ages but this once I said to myself, stop being so impatient and q like a normal person,it can't be that bad.....got there, only 1 before me in the Q, "Hoorah" I thought....guy orders....."4 kids subs, and 1 adult footlong"....I nearly died....there was only 1 guy behind the counter....I stood there fuming for close to 12 minutes...

TA'd by how much of an idiot I feel when asking an IT person for help with literally anything. Probably because I am a literal idiot with technical things and when it comes to downloading zip files and inserting passwords and installing apps and "VPN credentials' my brain goes into some kind of a "WTF" frenzy, shuts down and I'm left sitting there like a dribbling moron.

Then an IT person comes along and says "did you try entering your password" or something and I'm left banging my head against the desk in shame.

I DON'T HAVE YOUR COPY, I ONLY HAVE THE OFFICIAL COPY. IF I WAS TO HAVE EVERYONE'S INDIVIDUAL COPY, I WOULD NEED TO DRIVE A LORRY AND TRANSPORT AROUND AN ASSISTANT TO FETCH THE RELEVANT INDIVIDUAL COPY WHEN NEEDED.

Friend has kids. On the birth of all her kids I've bought them gifts. On christenings and birthdays. She's reselling pretty much anything she had belonging to them at near enough full price. I.e. A baby chair she bought for 40 euro, two children used and is selling it for 30. Fair enough, her own business I guess. All the gifts I've bought the kids for big events have already been sold. I bought her oldest a gift for his birthday in summer and someone got him a similar present but cheaper. She told me she brought back the other present and exchanged them for a set of bed sheets. Just saw on facebook she has a pic of the kid using the present she "brought back" so exchanged mine.

I'd say fair enough if the present was **** or cheap or whatever but it wasn't. I'm done buying them anything in future I'll throw a tenner into a card

Feeling really fat today. Not just bloated, as in every bit of me is just inflated. You'd think that would make me want to go to the gym as I do every Monday-Thursday but it's having the opposite effect.
Hopefully tomorrow I'll be less ugh.

At a funeral/burial today. In the cemetery 2 old codgers behind me kept yapping away during the prayers. Someone behind me shushed them 3or 4 times but they carried on regardless. They were even laughing. I could see people turning their heads to see who it was. Disgraceful carry on.
