How much does the loser pocket from this bout?

I guess millions and that's all it's for from McGregor's pov. I doubt he cares if he loses at all. Great publicity.

5am is about right for a boxing main event should the card lack a ko or two and this is different again. It's UFC that starts even later.

I may be wrong but I think I remember staying up til about 6.30am for the Mayweather Canelo fight. Hopefully not the case this time

I know this doesn't say much but Sky's coverage started at 12am for MayPac as it will for this. Maybe they're pushing it for a bit later seeing as UFC have their cards a lil later? This is the only place where I've seen anyone has suggest it will be after 5am.

Are boxing pressers always this boring? Will they be filling up the seats with ex champs, getting each to talk, then move them off for Floyd and Conor??

This is a title fight now Walsh! The money belt is on the line. You can't deny it's a sporting event now!

Hmmm. PP and Ladbrokes say 4.00. William Hill says 5. I couldn't be arsed looking anywhere else.

    This is painful for everyone.

They were fawning over each other in the press conference. Dana's jaw dropped when Connor was asked if he would have another boxing match if he won and replied that he was now the main player and could do what he wants. I love Conor for putting Dana and the UFC in its place if nothing else.

    Why is there nobody there?

Floyd and Stephen Espinoza's egos couldn't handle 20,000 Irish people in there booing them relentlessly.

As Floyd said he has a good chin. Walshb you found that out when he faced Mosley. Even if we entertain the absurd idea that Conor can do what Canelo, Mosley and Pacman couldn't? Does anyone really believe that Conor hits harder than Mosley?

Well there you have it. Floyd showed a bit of class on the night while McGregor doesn't have any to show.

Interesting to know that McGregors camp didn't bring in a specialized boxing coach for training. Just kept his original team.

You saw Conor bowing to Floyd at the end yes?
    Plenty of class there...

You're aware Floyd Mayweather punched the mother of his two children and kicked her in the face? You're aware he punched 2 other women? You're aware he has been in prison for it? Aware he's a complete misogynst who treats women as objects?

Conor has had the same girlfriend for 13 years, has a child, looks after his family, loyal to his friends and his team, is generous with his time for Crumlin Hospital, etc etc

You're absolutely unreal if you think the man has an ounce of class compared to Conor.

    :D really?

I was going off the words that came from his mouth during questions. Did you miss that bit?

For the press he gives a few answers that will sell the fight?
    Nothing wrong with that.

At the face off betweeen the two men he bowed in a sign of respect...

Boxing tinted glasses are so strong you can't even notice a decent thing..

Mayweather wasn't mouthing off, McGregor was. FLoyd was more humble actually. Thats what we all saw. Thats what im judging my opinion on

I watch more Ufc than Boxing.

    100% disagree.

The game plan will be to keep the fight at distance. Conor will fight nearer his normal kicking range, launch darting attacks and land counters when Floyd tries to cover distance.

Sure, there'll be some clinching as in every boxing match but there's no way the gameplan is to smother him.

Conor will outbox him from the outside imo and there'll be a lot of people scratching their heads Sunday wondering what in the hell just happened.

I just can't get the logic of this at all, incredible head scratcher.

I'm not saying Floyd didn't come across more humble,
But to say Conor is classless, when showing respect to an opponent(which we also all saw) is plain wrong.

Floyd showed a very good beard against several men before Mosley cracked him. Emmanuel Burton fight springs to mind. Chop chop Corley too, and N'Dou
