Jeep hooked up to the Audi here for I'd say the 10th time this year. For once it's not my car with a flat battery!

In Tesco this morning to get a few things. At the till there is an old man in front of me, must be 90 or so. You wanna see his shopping. All loose veg and fruit. De didn't even bother with the small plastic bags. Easy to see why he was in the prime of his health.
Compare that to the girl behind me. Early twenties and obese. All frozen and processed food, heaped up on the conveyor. Really hit home why we have an obesity epidemic.

    Women obviously:rolleyes:

Public service again but I just thought this was worth repeating
I'm just watching the repeat of Vincent Brown this morning where they're discussing the Gardai and apparently a garda texted into the program saying that he was fed up of the Garda bashing, explaining that it was just the 90% that were giving the rest of them a bad name :D

a few lessons at €60 each , €80/85 for test and €35 then to add it to your current full licence plus the hours to do each of them.

and id be very surprised if you will be any better at towing a trailer. I found they were trying to teach and encourage me to drive more dangerous

Do you have to get an entirely new licence when you add a new class to your original, or do they send you a new one with the new classes added?

IE, provisional towing, or motorbike class.

Bit of a waste if you still have 5 years to run on your 10 year licence.

You don't have to update your licence straight away, ya can drive on the cert of competency that ya get after passing the test

Simulated terrorist attack in Dublin this morning went off well.

A few cyclists were stabbed but seemingly all in all no harm done.

Was in Ulster bank today. They are rolling out automated tellers now. There will only be one desk open and another for enquiries. There was a woman behind me who was saying she used to work in a bank in America. Start work at 7.30 am. Doors open at 8am. Doors close at 5pm. Not allowed home until all monies balance. They also had 2 drive through desks. Very handy for trucks/jeeps. I wonder would drive through banking ever come in in Ireland. It would be great

I think Whelan, we're going very much in the other direction. Cashier now open only 10-12.30 each day in local BOI.
Retail customers are a costly inconveinence. That is, until the next time the corporate side goes, tits up.

Would you be nearly better to go do the artic.
Sure a BE is 3500kg gross, while a CE will allow towing vehicle + towing weight where some jeeps can pull 3ton

Will the artic cover you for car and trailer ?

If you get the CE license you automatically get the BE & C1E licences

With a be licence you can tow a trailer up to 3500kg. Not a 3500 kg combination of trailer and towing vehicle.
No matter what licence you have you are restricted to 3500kg on a ball hitch as that is the max the trailers are plated for and the max the hitch on the trailer is plated for.

Wouldn't you think they would put 'Simulation' or something like that on the screen when showing it on the news. I'd say a few older people thought it was for real.
