Performance has improved for me in the latest patch.
Buildings are spawning in faster for me, but about 25% of the time they still haven't spawned by the time I land.

Is it just me or have they reduced the quantity of vehicles spread around the map? I like this.

I'm still chasing that elusive win. 6th is my top finish. I seem to perform considerably better in solo than in squad.

They said it in patch notes. Vehicles shouldn't have 100% spawn rates so people can't guarantee a vehicle every timd

Are you getting increase in FPS by anychance?

Ah,i was playing on the test server the other night and had a noticable improvement, an average of 10fps more,maybe they will improve it on the next update

its not just the increase, its finally a steady FPS i find.
nonoe of this 20fps for 1 second bull**** i had before.

2nd is my best finish so far. Had a great game last night..some guy charged me a min into the game with a shottie but I had a m416:)
Picked up his Kar98 and stuck my 8x scope on it and went off happily hunting..as luck would have it the 3rd final area had a tower in the middle of it where I happily sat taking headshots. Down to the last 4 and I fall off halfway down the tower :mad::mad::mad::mad:

I was the opposite. I got my first win pretty early but have had loads of top tens since and no more chicken dinners.

I have been playing Mass Effect Andromeda lately so my mind was in arcade mode
twice I have killed myself while jumping out of a running vehicle because I was too used to the Nomad and one of them I was down to 6th place
just as well the keyboard was sturdy and the man-cave was soundproof

Playing ArmA has given me a healthy respect for slow moving vehicles.

My gut feeling is that when the game is released it'll run on a 2Gb 1050 but as it stands there are people with 1080s who are suffering though it seems to be due to a certain combination of things and not just the GFX card.

I have a i5 3570k and a GTX1070 and it runs as smooth as the majority but I know others with more powerful rigs who have issues.

It only seems to stutter for me at the initial island and on plane. Seem like a loading issue really. Running i7 6700k and 1080 and a few seconds into the plane scene it's bombzing away.

im running it on an i5 with a 970m,ive settings at medium and get between 60-70fps while playing..

they are tinkering with optimisation all the time so i reckon it will perform alot better when it gets its full release

Circle landed on island so I grabbed a bike and went across the bridge to Novorepnoye. Thanks to it being empty and finding a crate, I found myself looking down on the military base with a Kar98, 8x scope and all level 3 gear and only 13 alive. When I heard the noise behind me and saw a lad come out of the gas I switched to my Tommy Gun and pulled the trigger. Bloody single fire mode! Took me a millisecond too long to realise that the other fellow hadn't been consumed in a hail of bullets and I was dead.

I've died more time to not putting the UMP/Uzi/Vector in full-auto than to anything else

its the very first thing i always go..one gun is always full auto with another for marksmanship

I had different issue, damn x button... after in panic I pressed it while prone and got dropped by a fella again, I got so pissed off, that I remaped damn thing as far away as I could!
