If Walker goes, then ideally it would be to Bayern (or some team overseas).

Though it's not like any 'big name' transfer before - I actually want to see Trippier play more and have been saying it since we bought him.

If Walker goes, then Walker-Peters will be promoted for cup games etc. Maybe what we actually need is another senior centre back who can cover in right back in the big games, in the event Trippier picks up an injury.

Zabaleta might have been a good move.

It's a disgrace that united go into pot 2 after finishing 6th but winning the UEFA Cup. Spurs after finishing second go into pot 3. Where is the justice in that? Success in the previous season should trump previous success especially as they flunked a champions league place.

Beating an under 23 academy team should not deserve a better possible group than scoring 86 points in the league.!

It's coefficient, isn't it? If we get into the CL more often, it won't happen again.

Yes apparently still an outside chance of us being pot 2 also if Napoli and Sevilla dont get to group stages.

    WTF

Harry Redknapp says he wants to sign Benoit Assou-Ekotto for Birmingham City, but the player wishes to be a pornstar.

Redknapp: "I can maybe get another year out of him before he decides to do that.

if chelsea win today, do we play them in the charity sheild? Lifting a trophy would be a nice way to kick off next season at wembley,

Get in! I never thought I'd be glad to see Costa score -- ABA (anybody but arsenal).

MU were incredibly bland and boring yet won 2 trophies this season -- now another bland bore team could win a trophy as well. FFS! :(

Watching this and deciding who I want to win is like deciding which leg to cut off
Only good thing is it might keep Wagner in a job

We finished third in our group last season. Pot three is about spot on

Arsenal well deserved the win today..
Was such an end to end final

Delighted for the decent humble gunners on here and as someone just said I can't stand seeing John tool bag lifting another trophy

No comparison between Harry's team and our current one. I agree this is a better team as in unit but technical wise they are streets behind. People have short memories, kaboul was outstanding for us at his peak.
The point is we were never out of a game with Harry's team, it only took one piece of magic, the current lot run out of ideas when plan a doesn't work.
The performance away at Stoke when Chris hoy screwed us was as good as I've seen Tottenham play and I've been a fan since early 80s. The team we had in late 2011 when on the run of consecutive wins was our greatest bunch.
I love poch and what he has done, getting the best out of this current squad of average footballers but I do yearn for a bit of stardust. It's what draws most people to Tottenham in the first place, we'll certainly in my day anyway.

I hope our team of average footballers have a nice rest and maybe a bit of stardust will be there when they wake up....sleep tight Tottenham!

Uruguay won the first World Cup, does that mean they should always be in the top tier? But sure as you said before we are only average footballers! 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

We would have been playing Chelsea in the community shield if they had done the double.

Silly comparison. We finished third in a relatively easy group in our last outing in the competition. How Uruguay did in their last outing will determine how they rank in the next.
I'm puzzled why you pulled up the post about average footballers as it can only mean you wish to admonish my argument by attacking credibility. I stand by what I said above as it's my opinion rightly or wrongly. That's what these forums are for. Just because we can be wrong on one issue doesn't make us wrong on the next thing you don't agree with. Again only my opinion
