Maybe death and injuries from crowd crush?

    Wake up man

We'll find out what happened soon enough. No point speculating as of yet.
There's 19 houses with empty beds in them tonight, and 19 families who will never again have their loved one walk through the door.
The emergency services and everyone offering aid and assistance are to be commended. True heroes- that's what humanity is all about.

Right so there was a warning to avoid causalities. And this happened 25 years ago. From a group no longer active.

I did say that this wasnt the ira. Did you miss that?

Hopefully the nailbomb suggestions aren't true. That has IRA written all over it.
US media saying US Intelligence have been briefed by the Brits that it was a suicide bomber.

Sky reporting it went off outside the arena in a public place, so they didnt pass security.

It seems like the exit doors were opened and the person went into the arena. Very easy thing to do, if there are stewards there you can just say I lost my phone etc. Doubt they are bothered about a backpack or whatever they carried it in.

There were 2 explosions according to witnesses. This seems similar to the Paris Attack. One person went up to the gate of the stadium, let off bomb, tried to create a stampede for the next bomber. With the Paris stadium attack it just failed as the guy didnt get to the stadium and the other guy bottled it.

Could be a combination of that and a bomb.

At what point does it have to get to, to realise that letting in all these people has been the most idiotic thing Europe has ever done. It's not working, and it will never work. Multiculturalism is self destructive when people don't want to integrate. Western values just aren't compatible.

The 7/7 Bombers were all British. The guys who killed Lee Rigby were British. The guys responsible for the Paris attacks were French (at least some were, can't speak for all of them).

So what's your point? The people fleeing ISIS (ie those one's we're "letting in") are the people who're fleeing war and ISIS destruction of their homelands. They're trying to get away from war none of us in the West can imagine. But hey! Don't let the facts get in the way of your prejudice.

In the meantime, RIP to all the victims of the Manchester Arena tragedy. Whatever the cause, it's a horrific incident. Upwards of 20 young people will not be coming home from a concert tonight and the pain of the families is unimaginable.

    What are you suggesting.

Think it's fairly clear from what I said and from the post I was replying to. If this was the work of a radical Islamic terrorist, then the fact that it's so close to a UK election has got to be a factor.

So again, are you really suggesting this was a Russian terrorist?

But outside the Arena, not inside

I'm sorry if my previous comments seemed crass. I'm just at a loss why anyone would target anywhere where people just want to have fun and enjoy themselves. The amount of people who would have been there at the gig and in the nearby areas is in the thousands. Again I'm sorry for any offence caused by my previous comments. I'm just filled with anger at the moment.

Spare us your far-right-wing white culture nonsense tonight yeah?

If this was an Islamic Terrorist there's a fair chance he was born in the UK not "let in from elsewhere".

Just shut it. You'll have lots of time for this nonsense tomorrow.

Guy on Fox who was at the concert said there was no security checks

thats irrelevent. it didnt take place at the concert. it took place after the concert and outside.

I'd consider the timing this close to the UK elections too. Much more likely to push people towards the right-wing which will like you say, will lead toward the very moderate Islam communities becoming more and more marginalised.

    Indeed.

Zero tolerance policy from police from now on. Even something as minor like sharing a jihad post on facebook or posting something on twitter should result in arrest or deportation. Also feel that muslim communities are not doing enough to combat extremism and teach their youth how to integrate into european societies

a Zero tolerance policy all ready exists. something as minor like sharing a jihad post on facebook or posting something on twitter all ready results in arrest or deportation.
    it doesn't work however.

muslim communities are doing what they can to combat extremism and teach their youth how to integrate into european societies but there is only so much they can do, the law has to step up to the plate as well (and to be fair it mostly does but people can slip through the net)

I'm very highly educated. I know words, i have the best words, nobody has better words then me.

if you have accused someone who does think that it is very likely to have been an islamic terrorist attack of wishing for it to be so, or taking glee in it, you are in fact an awful person. you should never receive a hi 5 again.

I'm sorry if this makes me an awful person in your eyes, but it appears very much to me that this poster...

...will be very disappointed if it turns out that the perpetrator is not a Muslim.

I think anyone can walk in, once in you walk to a different part for security check.

And did they warn people to avoid a&e through twitter 25 years ago. Get a grip.
This is a tragedy, and not a time for finger pointing until we know who is behind it.

It was a joke because of people blaming Russia for previous terror attacks in the lead up to elections, what you wrote sounded like some thinly veiled excuse to me.

    If it wasn't, apologies.

Question: since 9/11 who has been responsible for more deaths in the United States, right-wing extremists or Islamic terrorists?
There's no place for Islamic extremists in civilised society. It's about time people stopped bending over backwards to accommodate those who show nothing but contempt for society, be they "natives" or immigrants. I know it's a small minority but it's significant enough. They're the first group to get up in arms about their rights not being met etc and it's seen as unpc to say anything at all negative. That needs to stop. They need to conform to the society they live in or go somewhere they feel more comfortable.
