I believe that G4 HZ-103 shall also visit SNN today.

Makes sense as it's the only one flyable. I was curious if any of the airline -300s were destined to cross to the USA rather than become Pepsi cans.

I was going through Shannon on the 13th and saw them from outside but unfortunately both had departed by the time I got through security/clearance for a better look. Extremely unfortunate given that that only took 15 minutes!

Had a look on twitter and no updates on these planes coming ins and out. How would one know when they are landing or taking off?

Its actually owned by the father who lives in the UK, it replaced his SP. So it makes sense that the crew have to fly it every so often to maintain currency and it also helps the aircraft.

We used to do the same thing with corporate aircraft, if the owner didn't want to fly, the aircraft was scheduled every 10 days for local flights with only cockpit and cabin crew onboard, this gave everyone the opportunity to stay current and familiar with the aircraft. It also gave maintenance the opportunity to resolve any bugs or cabin defects that may appear.

I've had a great few days of 747 spotting, from Cargolux, Cargolux Italy, Atlas Air passenger, Atlas Air cargo operating for Turkish, British Airways and Kuwait Airways....
