I just hung out a load of washing on the line, then I took all the garden furniture out of the shed. Time for the second cut of the grass.

Today's data for Tuam so far: A temperature range of 17.3c!
    gJlI2mk.png

RH also got down to 33% for a brief time in the afternoon. Typical spring day in that it felt warm in the sun, and chill in the shades.

a world of difference between east coast and west coast temperatures this weekend, eastern fringes struggled into double figures while the west wasn't far away from 20C

Yesterday Markree had a temperature range of more than 20c !!
    Max. 17.1c and min -3.4c.
I wonder what the max/min record is for Ireland?

Met Eireann giving up to 18c today, considering yesterday they reluctantly said 17c, could we see 20/21c in places today?

Probably not, but just a thought :)

Sunshine and very low humidity all day again here in Kerry. A steady brisk Easterly wind kept a large gorse fire on the Slieve Mish mountains going today with a long plume of smoke visible on the Sat Pic . Has lessened but still burning late this evening.
