Since the update my phone has started randomly turning off and on. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. Also, another poster commented a while ago about music suddenly stopping when listening with earphones - I get this too and it happens when I don't have earphones in as well.
Overall I love the phone and am really glad I bought it.

Ha! that's a new one, they may have opened it up to more now.

I read an article saying it has been released in US, UK and DE, so I chanced UK and it worked :)

wonder if anyone can help me with this problem.

delighted with the phone except for 1 thing. i use the dual sim for both personel and work contacts. if there anyway to save say a work contact that all communications are automatically carried out through that particular sim. not much of an issue with calling and you just press the sim to call from. biggest issue is with texts as i have often sent a text using the wrong card. it seems to revert to the previous sim used for the prceeding text

had a moto g previously and there was an option to use either sim 1 or 2 that could be saved.

is this option on the 3t cant seem to see it

I use an app called textra and it defaults to sim you last used for that number

Have updated, now all the font and/organisation is weird, its smaller than before and squeezed to the left of the screen?

Edit: Just changed both the font and display settings, the defaults had changed for some reason

Improved picture taking of moving objects with blur reduction

If, like myself, this was the most exciting part of the update just get it over with and embrace the disappointment now. The blur on slightly moving children is not improved in any way. They have changed something, if you are familiar with the weird post processing that takes nice normal pictures and then ****s them up with post processing right in front of your eyes? Yeah, they've changed it to equally **** up your pic but it kind of looks different while it does it.

Screenshot animation quite slow after update?

Have only just realised that the slowness is deliberate - you can now interact directly with the screenshot from the animation/preview, e.g. to share it or set as background.

Will I go ahead now and buy the OnePlus 3T or should I wait for the OnePlus 4/5 (whatever they're going to call it).

I'd say it is worth waiting if you are not in a rush - something new might come in July and the more recent versions have not been as hard to get your hands on as the One and Two

I'd go for the 3T now, no idea when the next one will be out and it could be much more expensive.

If you're going to wait for the 4/5 I'd say you're better off waiting for the 6 as that will be better than the 4 and 5!

While the 4 might well be released July or August realistically it could be September before its readily available. And Sickboy is right, you'll never get a new phone if you always wait for the next best thing, come September October there will be hopefully the Note 8, November Pixel 2, Jan Feb next year Lg g7 and Galaxy S9......it never stops!

This is probably a stupid question, but do the OnePlus phones work on all the Irish networks without issue?

Not a stupid question. The answer is yes, they work on all networks.

Yeah, the first one did not support the 800hz 4g band so not stupid question - thankfully they corrected this in their second and third iteration of the phone.

Has anyone else had issues with their phone restarting by itself since the update (few weeks ago)?

Hey guys cracked screen on oneplusx thinking getting a 3 since the screens are so dear to fix. Is the 3t worth the extra?

Don't think you can get the OP3 anymore (although they still show an ad for it on the site) as far as I can tell you can only order the OP3T which is nice phone.

Just broke my screen and display

Has anyone got this fixed? considering doing it myself wondering if its hard to do?

I updated my phone a while ago and since then if i try to install an apk it won't let me, does anyone know what the problem might be?
If i tap install nothing happens no matter how many times i try but if i tap cancel just once it cancels.

Settings > Security > Unknown Sources (allow installation of apps from unknown sources)

    Is that ticked?

I broke mine within a day of getting it. Sent it back to one plus cost €95 to repair so happy enough. shops were quoting me 200. I think the part itself costs about 50 so think you are better off getting it done professionally. Took less than two weeks to send off and get back.

I didnt get any replies to my thread so I will ask here.

Every morning when I wake up, I have to turn on airplane mode and back off again in order to get the wifi connection to work. I will be connected to the wifi but it wont load pages, anything, until i do the airplane mode trick.
I get emails during the night and whatsapp etc so the wifi does work until some stage.

I have to do this during the day too, after I get home from work its likely ill have to do it twice in the evening.

I have the wifi router to 2.4ghz (because my gfs 2012 MB Pro doesnt have 5ghz), and just standard settings. Our Macbooks have no issue connection at all.

DOes anyone have any ideas? I have to do this when on 4g too. Even if I have 4g and full bars, streaming in the car likely wont work until I do the airplane mode trick.

Its very annoying and Id appreciate any insights. Thanks
