A look at the upcoming Hori Hayabusa fightstick. It's a better image and in colour than the previous one. Still no other details though.

In terms of only 80,000 sold because of shortage of stock, I doubt this is a factor, easily pick a switch up right now in my local smyths

Thats because they have done next to zero advertising in the Irish market, im wondering how easy it is to get them in the UK right now and how close 80k is to the full number that was available on launch day there

It's a whole combination of factors but advertising is part of it. Others are price(that's probably the biggest one), vagueness from Nintendo(online, VC, no browser, no apps like Netflix), lack of launch games, lack of third parties, what happened with Wii U, etc.

Edit: It's not going to have mass market appeal with that price. It needs to be €250 to stand any chance and that should include a pack-in game(not digital either). And all the accessories are crazy expensive too.

On that note, I am fairly certain we will be seeing a price drop before too long, and something like a Switch Ambassador program. I definitely agree on the accessories, in terms of controllers (cases etc aren't too bad) - the price of the pro controller is crazy!

The vagueness is an irritant. I don't really care about Netflix, browser (it's a games console for me, I will use an iPad for the app side of things), but there's no reason to be vague about game related things like the VC. They've announced there will be classic games, what's the harm in a timeline or more detail.

Now that is a beautiful beast of an arcade controller.
The implication is that they know something we don't and there's something essential to play on it incoming.... not just Ultra SF 2!

Beautiful thing. Between Waku Waku, King of Fighters '98 and Ultra Street Fighter 2, there's plenty of hours available to give that stick a good run. Though, I am pretty excited by what may be in the pipeline.

It does not need to be 250 euros at all.

From my use of it once there is more games for it. 330 euros is quite a bargain might i add. I paid the same for a Vita back in 2012 if that gives you a idea.

ITs a extremely comfy to play console (Only Nintendo console not to give me hand cramps). The screen is fantastic on it. The few games we have got are great.

I have been playing Zelda in bed while the girlfriend sleeps no problem at all tell me where else would i be able to play a game the share size of Zelda on a handheld console ?. Then when i get up in the morning i pop my switch into its dock and play on my TV.

To me once more games come in and with the right marketing this thing will be huge.

Yeah, I ordered the Switch and Zelda (separately). Both arrived on Friday. I did the 10 off deal too

I wouldn't really use the Vita as an example to follow.

I'm guessing he means use it as an example of the cost of a premium portable at launch.

    You got them already? Great.

Mine was posted on Thursday - I would have thought the weekend would have been enough. Let's hope tomorrow is good :)

Apparently the JoyCon's work natively on Android.

Link is in Hyrulean or something, but Google translate it. Or don't.

I feel a little sick Sligeach.

Incredible stuff though, the console is surprisingly hardy. Must find out how easy a screen replacement is, no doubt mine will end up under a set of keys at some stage.

Where are people buying screen protectors? Want to put one on to avoid scratching the plastic when docking/undocking

Nintendo selling spare docks in the US. Was hoping that would happen so I can have a dock at the main TV as well as my PC monitor. No AC adapter or HDMI cable with it though.

    Wow, this is amazing looking

Screen and LCD are seperate, so DIY screen repairs to cost under €20 at a guess, it's pretty cheap to manufacture. Deadly stuff. I love how modular the whole thing is, some parts are just mindblowing, like the above.

That's just Amazon's poor delivery service. I'm assuming free delivery. Mine was due to ship last Thursday and finally shipped today, arrived in Dublin earlier and due to be delivered tomorrow. Thankfully they upgraded the delivery type.

Was over in London during the weekend and it was out of stock in nearly all Argos stores going by the stock tracker, still out of stock in most stores now as well.

Did you go the Super Saver route, if so check if your carrier is Asendia, you could be in for a long wait if it is or may not get it at all.

Listened to the very short slot. It didn't come across as great.
