Does anyone know if Smyths will have copies of Zelda tomorrow? I pre-ordered ages ago with Amazon and they still haven't dispatched it. Might just cancel my Amazon while I still can.

So you are like me, the Bull Mc Cabe here!

Im having WW3 with them here on chat

They declined my payment as they didnt deduct my voucher that I had been assured was applied a month ago before this

I was onto them yesterday and was assured everything was awesome, woke up to a payment declined email this morning

Really Pissed off at both of them now.

I told my bank that there will be 2 charges to amazon French and gave them warning for it. THEY STILL BLOCKED IT !!!!.

Now to telling me to pay for it again. ITs going to be War with Amazon now. As i am rightly stuck now as i have no other bank card at this moment in time. Unless i get loan of my girlfriends or my fathers bank card for the day ....... And transfer the money over to them.

This is what i get for buying it online stress that i don't need.

I'm definitely not worried about my lack of a call from Gamestop, no sir.

Yap Amazon FR have confummered no money gone to them and for me to pay the orders again.

While looking at my credit card statement i have been charged ........ For both orders from Amazon.

Basically i have to put another 350 euros on my credit card now to buy this stupid thing.

At this stage i am tempted to order one in smiths with the fathers card and get it tonight at 12 .....

There all next to useless the lot of them.

I've paid in full and I'll still be at Gamestop tomorrow morning waiting for them to open. Not taking any chances.

Well Amazon just took my money, now preparing to dispatch, arriving tomorrow, IT'S SWITCHMAS!!!!!
As I'm going travelling for most of April I had already bought a 26,000mAh power bank (two actually) so we could keep phones and junk topped up. Was delighted when I realised that they'll keep the Switch powered for a bit longer on the 13 hour flight. Will be doing "the play it down to ~20% then connect power bank to play and charge it to ~90%, unplug, repeat ad nauseam".

Long haul flights usually have chargers - Aerlingus has USB connectors so you should be fine :P

not sure that will work. depends on the output of the charge. it takes 15v 2a(the main charger) to charge it to full in 3 hours. most powerbanks output 5v 2a and so will take about 8 hours to charge and dont charge fast enough to keep the switch going and also add further charge. better bet would be plug in the power bank straight away you'll get about 5 or so hours before the switch dies. not sure theres any way to get more than that unless the plane has a power socket

would have to be a socket to get the full charge or the usb slot be a usb c so you can use usb c to usb c

From my experience most long haul flights have a power socket under the seat.

Is it today that that issue of Edge is out? I want to buy it...

Picked up the Edge magazine on the way to work but won't get a chance to read through yet.

Won't be getting my Switch till tomorrow evening and then still have to wait for Amazon to deliver Zelda next week.

Trying to decide between Shovel Knight or Fast RMX to keep me going until then. Haven't played either before.

Just got a text from DPD saying I'll have my switch between 1 and 2pm today.
Really glad I preordered online with GameStop. Not only was I charged €320 but I get it a day early.
Unfortunately I only have 1-2-Switch to play with though as I'm getting the Zelda SE with Smyths.

Be great to hear your first impressions of 1-2-Switch when you get a chance to play it for a bit !

Look into Revolut. It's a top up credit card that I've used for a few months. I've had no issues with it.

3rd call to Amazon after being onto the bank...

My issue is I have a voucher, that won't apply unless the full switch amount is taken out first, problem being I have not got the full amount, just the difference between the Switch and the voucher!

Now trying to get them to take the difference first...

I did online chat with them twice in the last month and of course it was all okay on their end, even as recently as yesterday....

TBF I do need to play with it but the powerbank has a 4.8A output. apparently and fast USB-C charging stuff (I think). I will also have my charger with me (and adaptor if needed) so I can plug it in on the plane if possible and a two of those powerbanks, belt and braces and all that ...

Just in case you want to get a bit amorous with you new Switch games, don't:

Just picked up my Switch from DPD. The Joy-Cons feel so nice! I feel a bit naughty opening my gift on Switchmas Eve....

GameStop still never replied to me over my accessories+Zelda order, nor have they taken payment, so I guess them changing my Joy-Con order to the Snipperclips bundle did indeed **** that up. Hopefully nobody else has that issue.
