All that battery stuff is all well and good but how the hell do you get a battery at a decent price over here? Amazon won't ship them, Anker won't ship them, and technically the An Post parcel forwarding are not supposed to accept them.

I've used an Post AddressPal to get a power bank delivered from Amazon. Had zero issues.
I have heard that if something does go wrong however that they're pretty insufferable to deal with.

I'm so weak, fomo. I said I would wait for a year but now that launch approaches I want one. What are my realistic chances here of getting one on Friday? Is it just Argos that will have available?

Does the Switch have Bluetooth? I just realised that if I'm using this on the train I'd need to be using headphones and mine are wireless.

It does have Bluetooth but apparently doesn't allow for bluetooth headphones to be connected.

    Now...
    Just in Smyth's in Swords...
Where the gentleman on the games desk tells me that there is a pair of bundles for the Switch.
One has the system with either Zelda or Skylanders
The other is the system with Bomberman or 1,2 Switch...
Both represent a decent saving .
    So that's
    Switch plus BotW for €380
Switch plus Bomberman or 1,2 Switch for €360

I may have gotten them a little wrong, I was squinting with my ancient eyes at a screen.
He says the prices will be live on site tomorrow.

Either way, I think I'll be getting 1,2 Switch from them as well as BotW and I'll pick up either a wired controller or a memory card from Argos.
Then a game or two from the eshop, once it's up and running, with Isaac hopefully arriving by April!

Plans of attending midnight opening have been thoroughly dashed and I wont even be able to get down and collect it on friday(the missus is going to pick it up for me) So it will be friday night by the time I get a chance to celebrate switchmas.

Still hyped though so friday is going to be one loooooong day.

I hope Gamestop does something like that. Save a few quid on Friday.

Got a phonecard from Gamestop confirming my preorder and reminding me I have 48 hours to collect or they'll sell it.

Fat chance I'll be down there by 930am once I drop the kids at school :D

I'll be checking Argos and hopefully reserving their 3rd party wired controller and maybe bomberman depending on where has it cheaper.

Really? That sucks. What year is Nintendo living in. Everytime you think they have things sorted you find another weak link.

Got my call from gamestop around 7, again said had to be collected by Saturday evening. I'll be there early Friday, soon as I get my NCT done!

Well I had a feeling this would happen.

Cancelled my pre order with GameStop a few weeks ago but I'm getting caught up in the hype now with launch day so close.

So it looks like I'll be on the Argos website from 5am before work on Friday trying to reserve one for myself and one for a mate of mine :P

So if you've oreder both Switch and Zelda, you'll be getting at that bundle price?
Mine only had the grey left when I preordered. Was the one I wanted.

****e, have Zelda and Switch on separate click n collects in Smyth's... And I bet there's no flexibility... And I can't play hardball for toffee, they'll know I'm bluffing by my triforce tattoo and the pantomime Epona costume I'll be wearing...

Still feck all from Amazon and their online chat said it still ship today but be in Belfast Friday for Parcel Motel.
I was well hyped today, now feeling a bit down in dumps, this could be a Monday delivery yet, god dammit!
But looks like GS, Symths and Nintendo guys will have their at least all shipping today, so thats good news.

Popped into Argos and also confirmed 340e grey and 350e Neon, and only bundle options seemed to be SD card discounts on Argos terminals. Zelda SE is 99e there but at least theyll have it for those on the lookout for it. Tesco selling it at all Midnight I wonder?

So what cases we getting, Im thinking plain Nintendo one be best, nice zelda one at argos too tough, apparently screen isnt protected like smartphones its just plastic and prone to scratches, so maybe screen protector aint to worst idea.

hopefully they will do the preorder thing by giving us the lower price bundle rather then game and switch full price.

If they refuse cancel both preorders and they'll be free to purchase in the bundle... Surely.

More Barron wastelands in the switch software.(the looks)

I hope they do, I ordered mine and they wouldn't let me pre-order Zelda with it so had to pre-order it online :/

I was thinking that, but they'll probably out you to the back of a queue or something.
I'll be down near my Smyths tomorrow so will call in and see.
