'Silence for the kicker'......hahaha.....but hell, I think the Italian fans are brilliant.

Stupid penalties from Italy, it's a real pity.

The advertisements are hilarious though, never knew that Robbie Fowler had a Property Academy!

One of the Welsh lads shouted "Fukin hell ref!" in an exasperated tone.

    Father Ted moment there.

Why do italy kick it long at the drop out? Zero chance of getting the bsll in a good position and now It's now cost them

Kick long and you get the ball deep into their half, or even the 22. Force them to clear, put some pressure on them at the breakdown and you have a fairly good chance of a line out if they have to find touch or to kick it back to you. If you are really lucky they may even knock on and suddenly you've a scrum :)

And if one welsh side is weaker what will happen?

Ref isn't there to adjust the law for a side being weaker or not in the tight. A strong scrum still shouldn't wheel deliberately; then again a cute loose head can make it look worse to his benefit ;)

3 probably better option. Better work out for them.

Gap created by Alun Wynn Jones holding an Italian a few meters offside previous phase. Shame the replay didn't look at that.

I can't see Italy going up the other end and scoring, I think they blew their big chance just before the half

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 36,275 Mod ✭✭✭✭pickarooney

No change from the last fifteen years of Italy collapsing after 50 minutes.

Nugent isn't a fan of scrums if that last comment is anything to go by :pac:

Yeah because they can't take the pressure on their tighthead side.

If it was wheelimg we'd see the back 5 walking sidewise.

More Weak scrummaging here from the Welsh, I see :)

Pretty obvious in front of the ref. Italian discipline is atrocious.

About bloody time for Wales to get that try.

Frustrating, cause it should really have been a penalty for Italy, and that would have been a big mentally, and got them out of the red zone.

Instead, increased pressure, yellow card and try.

It's been killing them all afternoon.

Sam Davies did well to get it away before being smashed.

Great heart from Italy but they look done

They changed the front row, after they got mullered 3 times.

It sounds like he's turned up purely to moan. Sure, the standard isn't great but it's nothing like the game he's made it out to be.

Italy could have defended that so easily and they ballsed it up. Headless chicken stuff.

Seems they're still the 60 minute teas as usual.

Nice blocking from the ref. Terrible positioning.
