Penalty only. Well fair play to Doyle for that.

Oh for gods sake. That's a great tackle. You'd be applauded for that in school. Game's gone mad.

An ouch tackle. Another day and Wales would have had the extra man.

    Not a penalty at all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

it's taken 52 mins for Wales to nudge in front.

How can a team avoid wheeling it in that situation ??

  • Moderators, Education Moderators Posts: 26,418 Mod ✭✭✭✭Peregrine

    That wasn't even a penalty..

His hips didn't go past the horizontal. Poor call considering it went to tmo.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

These stupid errors are killing Italy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,899 ✭✭✭✭BBDBB

I can understand him asking the TMO to look, in real time it could have been dodgy, but the replay showed there was nothing wrong with it

Last two Italy scrums went sharply to the right. If that isn't a wheel....:)

"interpretation of the law" is my biggest problem with Rugby. It's a ****ing rule or it isn't.

Why do italy kick it long at the drop out? Zero chance of getting the bsll in a good position and now It's now cost them

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

Have to agree, if that is a tackle that went past the horizontal then I think our biggest concern should be fixing the horizon

And if one welsh side is weaker what will happen?

I cannot understand the Italian kick off 'strategy'.

His shoulders and head were still above his hips when he hit the ground, it was completely obvious.

One of the Welsh lads shouted "Fukin hell ref!" in an exasperated tone.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,899 ✭✭✭✭BBDBB

    Another close call

  • Moderators, Education Moderators Posts: 26,418 Mod ✭✭✭✭Peregrine

Italy are killing themselves with uncontestable kicks and poor chases.

Yeah because they can't take the pressure on their tighthead side.

If it was wheelimg we'd see the back 5 walking sidewise.
