@KevIRL i see i am up against the master in our H2H league over yonder. Top of the table clash :)

You haven't a hope he gets his captain right every week

I'd have to disagree, he's the second highest points scoring DF this year.

He's playing OOP and 6 goals/assists before todays game and Chelsea share the best defensive record in the league too meaning more points for Alonso.

Even if they are at home vs Arsenal & Sanchez, you'd have to choose him even for his attacking threat

Normally, I'd play him, but I felt Coleman, Walker and Brunt offer more potential this week. Chelsea aren't scoring freely of late and I figured it'd be hazard or Costa who'd score, not Alonso. It was bench ibra and play 4 at the back or bench Alonso. So far, it looks like I've chosen poorly but it's just a game. You take risks and some pay off.

I also have alonso first sub.

Have brunt McCauley baines in defence. Toyed between benching either Pedro or alonso. Picked alonso. The thinking behind it was that Chelsea were unlikely to keep a clean sheet with Sanchez in good form.

Although alonso has the attacking threat, so do my other 3 defenders.

I had dropped Alonso but brought him back in at 11 this morning, didn't sit right having him on the bench, can kinda see the reason why some would drop him depending on who you have but to drop him for Yoshida is madness

    And nyom in another team
I'll be a cranky man if nyom doesn't start

If he plays and matches points then fair enough

That back 3 is solid in fairness and you should see good returns.

Be interesting to see who you started in midfield.

Sure I've Benteke captained this week, what do I know? :pac:

Arsenal are 3rd best here. Have a real fear of a major haul for Chelsea players in the 2nd half.

Sanchez Alli Zaha and Phillips. Have a soft spot for the latter 2. Benched Mirallas.
Lukaku Kane and Ibra up top. Probably should've benched ibra but that much money on the bench is worse than Alonso.

Benteke with a brace, Zaha setting up both would do us both well so!

Pedro probably has 20/25 minutes left to get us something

I'd say hazard will be off first with that knock he took in first half

Surely not if it stays 1-0. He's some player.

Pedro seems intent on running himself to a standstill with no fantasy points to show for it

Selling hazard and Costa was a great idea a few weeks back wasn't it...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,387 ✭✭✭✭Father Hernandez
