Did Tommy throw his eyes to heaven when he heard louis o'neill name called out?

    Jaysus this one.
She's got men all figured out.
First thing she says to Tommy is he looks scared.
    God.

Tommy starting a bit off the boil tonight. He's a bit confused about the evolution of skin colour. He wonders if we put a bunch of Africans on an island off the west coast, would they eventually ride themselves into being red haired and freckled. Yes Tommy, that is exactly how it happens.

Tommy seems to be handling this well

I think Tommy is a much better interviewer than Ray D'arcy.

Ffs, I just turned on the tv to to have a look at this show after seeing this thread on boards and the first thing I'm met with is "1 in 4 women are the victim's of sexual violence"

    Enough tv for me.

    Please get this one off.

She has come on to a show where nobody knows who she is and blabbed on about rape for 10 minutes.

    Talk about lead balloons.

But how would asking for consent every time work, it would be like forming a contract of a ride between 2 people each time, would you have to keep sheets of consent slips next to the bed?

There's a passage in her book where the female character makes a coercive pass at the male character and it goes uncommented on.

Talking about this subject matter gives her a sense of purpose. To say every man needs consent training from the age of 10 or 11 is a f*cking insult.

There's such a thing as personal responsibility

1 in 4 women? Where does she pull these stats from. Horse ****.

It's good to hear this topic being discussed intelligently. Even when he's messing, Tommy Tiernan asks better questions than Tubridy, D'Arcy or Brendan O'Connor.

Tommy would have done the show live at the time. He's still a thousand times more relaxed and easy going than Tubridy or Darcy could ever be.

You're entitled to your opinion and I respect that. I can't stand the woman and think she is crazy.

Not great guests, but Tommy still did very well. I'd say he'll be having words with the backroom staff about the quality of the guests.

Maybe it's because I'm not into GAA but this is boring

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,983 ✭✭✭minikin

Perhaps we should explicitly request consent before milking them?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,420 ✭✭✭✭sligojoek

I hate th way RTE GAA portray the female players with photoshopped bronzed skin, arms folded and angry looking.

I watch the game for the game and not this fake sh1te
