This is dire. He's a terrible interviewer.

Gotta love the clueless SJWs in the audience though whooping for this islamist.

    He's not an Islamist FFS.

Having said that it would be nice if he asked some hard questions. Like if someone from the Catholic faith was on. Homosexuality, treatment of women etc.

But the thing I like about him is he's a dickhead to all, he includes everyone in his pisstaking.

I think he's nervous and his jokes are not that great.

It would be wrong to leave them out as if they didn't exist.

I'm sick of having to do mental gymnastics when someone (often religious, but not just religious tbh) makes reference to something insane and we're just meant to go with it.

In fairness it's everywhere nowadays. People are insane and i'm sick of bull****

Wonder will he ask them about their €6.4million tax issue a while back?

The premise here is that Tommy doesn't know who's coming on and yet he knows when he asks the Muslim lad to sing that he will sing.

I think that's been sorted. No small thanks to countless promotional items by RTE. They've been on everything for the last few years.

Didn't know she was from Cavan, thought the UK, heard this on Ian Dempseys radio show before Christmas, decent tune.

I thought that was so-so tbh. There were far far better interviews in the last series. Maybe it’ll pick up later in the series...

Just watched this on the player.

I don't get why you're complaining about him being a terrible interviewer when he's not an interviewer but a comedian.

Add to that he has no research on the guests or questions prepared so I think it's a tough enough gig and he does a decent job.

Ray D'arcy who knows his guests and has prep time is a worse interviewer.

It would be gas if they swapped shows.
I like Tommy and the last series was good enough. A lot of it boils down to the guests as well.
