Possible this may just be the devkit with the different background and darker looking Joy-Cons.

1001 Spikes was on the Wii U, PS4, 3DS, XONE, Vita and PC and Cave Story was on the Wii, 3DS, XBOX, PSP, DS, Amiga, GP2X and PC.

    You missed a few there

    It's gorgeous that.

    The UI is bloody tasty.

I wonder how easily the Joy-Cons can be opened, a matte black set would look class imo, with white or silver "+" and "-" on them, and SNES coloured buttons

The prices for 128gb micro SD cards have come down a good bit in the last while. About €40 for that one.

The last nintendo I owned was a Nintendo 64. I have zero interest in buying the Switch which in my mind is just a tablet with Gameboy controls on the sides. You couldn't play this thing for more than a few hours without the battery dying. And the games look terrible and options are extremely limited. Thanks Nintendo, But no thanks.

Hello. I haven't touched a Nintendo system since NES. Nintendo games are rubbish.

    Is that opinion justified? No.

Hello. My point was you stated he hasn't owned a console since the N64. He didn't say this (maybe he has owned multiple different consoles, who cares). And why wouldn't his opinion be justified?

    Crrrrrrrrringe

    Yes! Last Nintendo

    Since then, PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4

Didn't bother with Game Cube or Wii.

Actually. I did have a Gameboy Advance, Which is essentially a Nintendo switch with a smaller screen and longer battery life

You'd imagine you would be more accustomed to terrible launch line ups then.

And, with that, everyone knew his opinion had no value whatsoever, and they ignored him...

I've never actually watched a Sony or Xbox presentation. "It's the last one but faster" is about all you get from them, same with Intel, AMD and nVidia, Ninty are pretty much the only company you can guarantee something odd, for better or worse.

I thought this was a silly comment, but I checked just in case. Put the trailers of The Minish Cap and Breath of the Wild side by side and by god I in fact couldn't tell the difference between them!

Its only the little differences though. Like how Link doesn't wear a hat in the BOTW media we've seen.

Reggie's a twanker! Can't stand him. He was cool at first but now I see him as a liar who has 0 credibility.

the fact the switch needs a smart phone for online functionality is a joke

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,433 ✭✭✭wandatowell

The app is gonna have to be a homerun. It's a fresh take on things and that's exciting to me.

Cost for me is the biggest issue I have with the switch.

Aside from that I can't wait!

He's not a liar, he's a PR person, he trots out the company line and interacts with the fans. Thats what any PR person does for any company, least Reggie has some fun with it and actually engages.

Mohammad Alavi: ...I was excited about it. Nintendo's been in such a niche market recently, catering to the handheld and the kids, they've been so underpowered that they don't have the support of the third parties because they're all making for the PC, Xbox One and PS4, and it's no different.
Micha: I am going to drink to it mainly because, I understand. It will be underpowered. I'm not going to be play Titanfall on it. Like, can you tell me?
Mohammad: **** no! No, you're not going to be able to fit Titanfall 2 on the Nintendo Switch. That's the same Zelda from the Wii U?

    What a douche.

Bought them around the first or second month of owning the PS4, both poor but Knack was just dreadful.
