Its should be included in the price. I would have preferred they sell the full experience instead of needing to buy all the extra bits and bobs that really make the Switch shine.

you get a full experience with the joy cons. seperate, connected to the switch in handheld mode or in the grip is the full experience

Its okayishhh, its a long way from a decent controller like the Pro or any other traditional controller. I just like the full experience you see in the advert for Switch.

My point is how can you say it's a long way from a decent controller without trying it? All the hands-on opinions I've read so far have said really good things about them, the one drawback being the lack of analogue trigger, which won't be fixed by using the pro-controller.

I think we should stop feeding him

In the past I've looked at the NES controller , N64 controller and Wii U pad and thought... no way ... and been proven wrong each time so I've no doubt it'll be fine.

Have you experience of the two controllers, hands on, to say these things?

joy cons will be grand to start, but the pro controller is long term what i can see a lot of people going for. But until it becomes affordable, i have yet to hear anyone say the joycons are anything less than "fine".

I see a trend developing of negative lists about the Switch and you agreeing with 'all of the points', must be the 3rd list? at this stage. Many having the same points repeated.

Can you show me the other 2 please? I think I may have posted 1.

It has its points, but we haven't got the full list of 3rd party support yet, so, there will be loads more announced for 2017 I'm sure. Sire loads of games have been announced since the switch thing on the 13th with 2017 as a release date, some even for launch day. Which means the eshop will be live and hopefully brought up to day and easy to navigate, which, I never had a problem with on both WiiU and 3ds.

The online model, sure they have only said they are going to introduce paid online, and a few bullet points about it. I'm sure there is a hell of a lot more they have to announce for their online plans. Did they ACTUALLY say they would give then take back two nes and snes games each month?

I totally agree there should be a pack in game, take the hit Nintendo and get the system into people's homes. 1-2 Switch, €60, wouldn't pay €10 for it personally.

The price of accessories is high due to launch. Yes, they are very high but ps4 and xbone controllers cost 80euro at launch too. The prices will go down over the next year.

As for storage, they said the switch will take up to 2tb micro SD cards in the future, so, future proofed.

A little research makes a better rag article.

It's not a rag article. It's very well written and all are legitimate complaints. Forbes are a very well respected publication.

Who have you been talking to and reading? All the reviews sites I go to, Nintendo or otherwise, say they were very surprised at how comfortable and great they are to use in the grip or on the screen.

The pro controller has the HD rumble thing going on too, so, I don't know, pro might be better of you're a constant gamer. I don't really see a need for it but I'll be picking the pro controller up along with extra joy-cons.

Lol, dude, I know what Forbes is. I was just pointing out things that people (on here even) should be aware of.

A lot of nonsense articles and YouTube videos over the past 5 days saying how bad (not in the cool sense of the way) the Switch is, and there is still a ton of information to come out for it over the next 6 or so weeks.

    That's all :)

I'm sure the joy-cons are fine for most stuff, they look good, seem versatile, and have potential. Where they'll fail dramatically is Virtual Console stuff - fancy a game a Ninja Gaiden using an analgue stick? No? Maybe try the PSP-esque D-Pad instead? Nope, truly awful ways to control certain types of games...and with the VC being a big push, I seriously think the Pro controller should have been a pack in...and I don't believe this would have pushed the price up significantly, because the silly price they're being sold for certainly isn't what they cost to make.

Even the likes of the 'new' SFII game...analogue stick controls or brutal d-pad...versus a real proper Nintendo d-pad on the Pro controller....you decide :)

The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild Nintendo Switch UK Price Decreased After Complaints

...Nintendo has as of late brought down the suggested retail cost of the up and coming open world RPG The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild by £10. This was clearly done because of the feedback over the organization’s UK Nintendo Switch pricing procedure. Various retailers are presently offering The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild to pre-order for £49.99. This is down from its past RRP of £59.99. A client delegate for online store Amazon affirmed to Power Up Gaming that the price change had been ordered by Nintendo itself...

I wonder if gamestop will get any word about this......

I pre ordered Zelda today. Bit silly maybe, but I'd be gutted if its out of stock on launch day.

Zelda was £69.99 last week after the announcement on Amazon, so it has gone down £20 now.

Put 1-2-Switch in the box and Bomberman R down to €30, then we'll talk. :)

Do we know for absolute certain that the Switch comes with an AC adapter in Europe? They didn't give us one for the NES Classic Mini nor the 3DS. I see Smyths are selling an AC adapter for €35.

The actual system will come with a plug to connect to the dock and then charge the switch screen.

I'd hold off on getting a separate wall charger for now. 35 Euro is crazy high. It's 27 pounds in the UK so I think I'd wait for 3rd party chargers to come out

There was this image from the presentation but that could be just the American version.

I think we'd have heard the last wave of 'outrage' if the Switch came with no charger in Europe.

Seeing as the image on the side shows it going into the console outside of the dock, I imagine it's for people who want to charge it outside of the dock and don't want to faff around with pulling the AC adapter out of the dock.

Really can't see them skimping on the plug in the box so that it couldn't be used with the TV in Europe without spending more if it's bundled elsewhere.

Edit: Never mind then, just saw the post above. :D

Depending on the output of the power supply I'm hoping my Nexus 6p USB:C adapter will do the trick.
That way I can charge when out and about.
Can't wait to break out the Switch, sitting in Starbucks, sipping a latte and adventuring through Hyrule.

I don't know how anyone drinks coffee or tea for that matter. They're both vile, especially coffee.

Post #4681, so really 2. Thought there might have been another but think that was before the launch, but point still stands really. We all have complaints about the Switch so far, don't think anyone has said it's a perfect console, just don't know why the default starting position is negative sometimes.

There are legitimate complaints for sure. It's the type of article you could have had at any console launch though, I'd dread to go back and read the ones after Xbox Ones launch.

Nicalis, developer of Binding of Isaac, put up a tweet a while ago which said...

Isaac was lonely so we brought a few friends to keep him company. #NintendoSwitch

with the following pic. This tweet has since been deleted.

Possible this may just be the devkit with the different background and darker looking Joy-Cons.

1001 Spikes was on the Wii U and Cave Story was on the Wii.
