With the new sale now up I've had a look back at games I bought in the last one that I haven't played yet and KOTOR is top of that list. 2 hours into it now, I feel like I've done nothing, the controls are so clunky, but I'm having a lot of fun.

Started Doom and it's amazing. Looks so good @ 1440p 144Hz along with Freesync.

First time to play the series, enjoying the fast movement and pace of the game.

Taris really takes ages to get out of, and I don't think it deserves the hate lots of fans give it. That said, the game opens up hugely once you leave it.

Got XCom 2 in the steam sale. Had a quick go.

Went to bed at 2am and was late for work.

I still maintain that it isn't as good as EW

First turn-based strategy game I've played, took me 40 hours or so to beat it on beginner, excellent game bar the performance issues.

    The Crew.
Not sure if Ubisoft fixed it or my new hardware made a bigger difference than it should have. It's quite good. Shame about the constant adverts to buy things, including any car that sounds exotic having a real money price attached.

After my laptop broke in July I have only now just replaced it. Started Assassin's Creed tonight. I have a few others I want to try before settling on one though. So many games to choose from, so little time to play in!

I played To the Moon a few days ago. Loved it.

Finished two playthroughs of Tyranny back to back. Really liked it. Bit of an abrupt third act but overall very enjoyable.

Started into Metal Gear Solid V then. 10 hours in I'm loving it. First time I've played any out of the series though so I tried reading up on the canon/timeline. I got a nosebleed trying to make sense of it all.

Playing through Metro 2033 Redux for the 1st time after finishing the book its fairly enjoyable think Im half way through.
Been playing a lot of multiplayer stuff over xmas too mount your friends, broforce, move or die, I would recommend them all highly. I dip into H1z1 king of the kill fairly regularly too I'm still abysmal at it though haven't found a good balance for mouse sensitivity.

Even Hideo Kojima has no clue what's going on in any given MGS game.

I've been playing Deponia the complete collection. It's pretty good. It has some really frustrating puzzles though and I've had to consult a guide a couple of times. But I've come to like it's zany off the wall humour and characters.

Also started playing Red Faction Guerilla, a game I started playing a few years ago on PS3 and never finished. It hasn't aged very well. The destruction stuff is still as fun as I remember though.

    Rimworld.

SciFi survival game using the Prison Architect engine. It seems a bit expensive for what it looks. I lost two days to it instantly.

Bought Rage from Steam yesterday. Only gave it a quick go, but it seems interesting - it's by Bethesda with help from id software, so I'm hoping for a Quake/Fallout crossover.

Finally got The Wolf Among Us off my backlog. I'm only sorry I waited so long to start it, what a fantastic game. Must look into the comics too.

Started Sleeping Dogs as well (more backlog stuff) and still playing Sunless Sea since I haven't explored half of the new Zubmarine expansion.

If the performance is crap have a look around online for increasing the amount of RAM your GPU is using in the game.

There's some arbitrarily low limit on it for some reason and there's a simple text file floating around the game directory somewhere where you can force it to use all your GPU's memory.

I can't remember the details but I know it improved performance dramatically for me.

I've completed Bastion, what an incredible journey. I've also been playing Duck Game, and Rocket League as normal and trying to play some games in my Library like Superhot and Action Henk.

I've also bought a crap bundle from G2A which gave me this gem:

I'm still working on Lego Star Wars, but I tried a bit of Assassin's Creed...it's great but I am struggling to get used to the lack of camera control. Any tips?
