No Mans' Sky at the moment, and i'm really enjoying it.

Also, i'm trying to get through Metro 2033 on Ranger mode, but i'm on some stealth bit with giant ape monsters and it's amazingly frustrating. Not sure if i'll be able to bring myself to get through that part.

I've forgotten the characters names but is that the point after the tunnels? Where you just circle strafe until they stop coming at you?

just finished it on very easy, going to try easy now that i have a hang of it. For anyone wondering why easy, the only options are very easy and easy, with easy being very hard!

Its similar buzz to FTL/Convoy/Space Run etc

One of my party killed another in the lift between floors :pac:

How is that even possible?! Multiplayer? I've only played single player

No, i did that part (though it was almost as annoying). This is later on in an old library or something, and there are big enemies that i'm supposed to sneak past. Tried it a bunch of times, but got annoyed and haven't gone back since.

Nope, single player. I chose the girl with the sword and the slow gunner guy att the start. They were at each other between floors. Her family or something died at a battle he was at. He kept needling her about it until she simply killed him..!

Oh yeah I have you now.

I don't recall having too much hassle there in Ranger, I don't think I was arsed stealthing after a while, just suicide ran it

I've somehow managed to put in 60+ hours into Earth Defence Force 4.1

It's just such a great game to throw on to waste a few minutes which then become hours.

Not sure if I'd pay £30 for it, but holy **** that game looks mental.

As a lot of reviews say, Starship Troopers simulator. :pac:

I've got so much fun out of the series and this one is definitely the best so far. There's a huge amount of content in the game, there's 4 different classes that are completely different and it has a diablo loot system where some weapons differ in stats but most differ in how utterly absurd they are. It also makes a fantastic co-op game and there's even 2 player couch co-op.

If you think it's too expensive it's definitely worth a punt at a sale price especially if you can rope co-op buddies into it. I just find it's a great game to throw on when you need something big and dumb to play.

Just be warned, it's utterly mental and was made on a shoestring budget.

Cannot stop playing age of empires 2!! Been the only game I have used the pc for in the last 3 months! Have always been a fps gamer but absolutely hooked! I have an i7 4790k, a 980ti and a asus pg279q monitor, while playing a game my tv remote could probably run!

The Nova campaign DLC is another good entry into the series. Paid 15 quid for it or something. I've done 4 of the 9 loooonnnnnnggg missions. Fairly difficult. Recommended if you like rts

So I am a bit off WoW binge, got a bit burned out, but still, best expansion ever! If I would be able to play more social hours with friends I bet I would still play it. I dusted off my ps4 thanks to black Friday and playing X-com 2 and Dark Souls 3.

    My new binges on PC:

Killing floor 2 - Playing it solo with different classes. Clearing short/hard games myself with 2 classes now. Trying out others in normal mode. I dont know what it is, but its just fun to jump in, do a few games. Constant progression of characters helps a lot too. Love Swat and Gunslinger.

Path of exile - Downloaded it again, havent played it in ages, but I was craving for hack and slash game. Diablo 3 got stale at this point and they dont update it fast enough with new content. Love it so far, but my biggest gripe was how gear looks on your character. Even high level chars looks like hobos. I sow that you can buy some nice skins, so thats me sorted. :)

Might give it a look. I was massively put off by its seemingly money grabbing effort at first.

Playing Hitman Absolution atm. I am enjoying it very much. I started it over a year ago but stopped playing and just went back to it to clear the backlog. It is quite good better than I originally thought.

Also playing Skyrim Special Edition and started Gone home. I do not know when I will finish these two but I will get there eventually.

I've gotten huge value out of the campaigns for SC2. I can't say much about their other games, value wise, but SC2 fans have been calling out for more options to buy things and they're now delivering that content.

    It's worth it IMO.

There's no call for them to just give away content for nothing. With things like the starter edition with the free arcade mode, the consistent price drops for the releases of the game and the consistent multiplayer support and community interaction they've shown, I think Blizzard are very much one of the good guys in how they've handled SC2.

I finished it recently and felt the same about it. Started playing it a few years ago but only played a couple of hors then. Decided to go back and play through it and had a lot of fun with it. Only major downside for me were those levels where your pursued by cops. Didnt like having to rush around in those ones. Other than that though its quite good. Admittedly I havent really played much of the other Hitman games so cant really make a fair comparison to those.

Got Total war rome 2 last week. I found a territory of the east coast of Spain called "Arse". Obviously I mounted a strike force to enter the arse and tear it asunder.

    Assassins Creed:Unity.
About 75per cent through the main missions, not even going to go near the side quests here, just want to get it finished. Its not bad but theres no spark to it either. Control system seems to be a bit all over the place as well, graphics hard to get optamised, Black Flag was so much better although the setting of Reveloutinary France is prity cool

Got two weeks off for Christmas so hoping to get some gaming in.:D

Started by finishing Rogue Legacy. Started playing it two years ago and would come back periodically and play some more. Easily my favourite rogue-like game. It's a great game to jump in and out of.

Also been playing Wolfenstein The New Blood. Feels more like an expansion to the New Order than a standalone and it's pretty much more of the same. But thats not a bad thing really. Still lots of fun dual wielding some shotguns and tearing apart some Nazis.

I'm also still playing Dark Souls. Beat Four Kings and Nito over the last week so progressing ok there. I'm thinking of picking up DS2 during the sales and jumping into that when I'm done with DS1.

I'm curious, has it been long since you played New Order? I have Old Blood as well, but thinking the longer I leave to play it, the harder it'll be to get back into it.

Not PC but having just finished Twilight Princess on Wii U, I started back into Donkey Kong Country Returns on N3DSXL

Playing Virtual Pool 4. Pretty much pool Simulation. Its free on steam and you pay for premium to unlock more games and snooker. Is good!

Been nearly two years since I played New Order. Didnt find it hard getting into Old Blood at all really. There's hardly any difference in the gameplay from New Order.

    I loved that game. :)

Something really therapeutic about compulsively cleaning a room full of blood and gore.

Cleared Telltale's Game of Thrones last week, and currently playing Banner Saga. Seems pretty cool so far, and i'm interested to see how it goes. Also playing Fifa, FF15 and Uncharted on the PS4.

I quite liked Banner Saga. I'm hoping the sequel is reduced significantly today.

    TBS was a disappointment.

It ended on a cliffhanger after around 8 hours played.
The story was headed somewhere, and yeah those 8 hours were decent but it was and still is, an unfinished game. I bought it at full whack too when it was released, major disappointment, wont buy the sequel because despite how cool it looks it'll be another game cut short at it's climax.

Also, the tb combat was fairly crap too. But that wasn't why i'd bought it.
