On a point of order, while happy to leave the award with Corkgirl ( :D ) I should point out that none of the creatures mentioned has sweat glands. Rats do something exotic with veins in their tails and elephants waft their ears about for a similar purpose. Birds and marine animals don't sweat.

Interesting! I actually didn't know that. A question from you both maybe? :D

Srameen wins again (The shark is 400 years old, give or take a few candles).

    Ok....

What comedian co-devised the 1980s gameshow Bullseye?

There's a blast from the past - is that the one where you were looking along a sight and the contestant was saying left, left, down, fire! No idea who's idea it was though :D

No! apparently not. Just checked. I think the one I am thinking of was more 60s.

That was the Golden Shot. "Bernie the Bolt. Up a bit, down a bit... fire".

Surprisingly, no. Not him, although he did present it.

Andorra, Bhutan, Liechtenstein, Mongolia, Nepal, Swaziland ( and, strictly speaking, Moldova ) ?

No. They may be but so are most countries. Incidentally I believe my list includes all countries with this attribute.

the quiz was meant to be easy and a way to pass the time. So there is no problem with googling some of the more difficult questions folks.

Dunno, Rube, speaking as a punter and not as a mod, I never google till after I have answered, or I don't answer if I have googled. It would take away the point of the quiz imo. Better to keep to relatively basic quick fire questions and keep the quiz moving I think. What does anyone else think?
