    My only problem is why couldn't the teachers go on strike when I was going to school???

    It's not good enough to just say "The teachers did not want to do this". That's like the "just obeying orders" that I'm sure they are teaching about to their students. If they dont want to do it, then tell the union to f**k off. Otherwise you ARE doing it because you want to. There's no in between. Grow a backbone for f**k sake.
