Are the teachers picketing outside the schools today or is it not a real strike?

all these chancers are going on strike because they see an opportunity. The thick ignorant government shouldn't have talked up the economy, or given in to bus drivers and gardai

Not at the ones I went by, but then again there were only 4 or 5 at the strike the other week.

All the teachers who come on any radio show have that same trait in common.

Talking over everyone, preachy tone of voice, these people used to talking down to students and being the boss.

one hour a week free......its absolutely shameful that these lazy tossers with 16 weeks paid holidays wont do this.

    Or a fancy Eye Pad.

In theory with current technology the students could sit at home and 1 teature/lecturer could teach to a few thousand students at a time.

    Today's dispute isn't a strike.

Teachers just stopped doing something for which the Department of Education has suddenly stopped paying.

Some teachers are even paying one thousand quid a year not to do supervision.
