    Plenty of ASTI schools are open today, because the principals were competent enough to make alternative arrangements, e.g. parents supervising lunchbreaks.

    Why can't that happen?

    I thought that the union was meant to represent the views of the teachers now brow beat them in to voting for what the union themselves want.
