    Well you have failed in that regard if you think that the way to deal with a troll is to just become one and go down to their level..

    This was posted the other day and regulars should have more sense, especially coming up to a McGregor event.

    Any ideas on what set-ups Eddie is going to try use?

    Obviously his game-plan is to try take Conor down but what faints/fakes and setups could work? Chad managed to level-change on a couple of fake overhands.

    If he does succeed in getting Conor down, do you think we are going to see more offensive Jiu Jitsu from Conor off his back or will he be sticking to defensive guard play and look to initiate a scramble?

    Ps. For the purposes of my above post, John does not exist on this forum. I.e. Let's speculate ourselves, not ask him :)

    There's a lot I could say in response to that, there really is, but all I'll say for now is that I disagree that my post warranted a threat to ban me (yes I read your mode note posted recently and I still disagree).

    I'm starting to wonder if this site is worth the time I spend on it anymore. It's nothing personal against you or any mods in particular, it's just that modding as a whole has gotten seriously overbearing in the past couple of years.

    I'm sorry to have replied to this on thread at all because it's not the done thing, but I needed to get that middle paragraph out there in the open.

    Chad had a massive overhand which Conor probably feared. I'm not sure he'll fear Eddies overhand right as much. I expect him to fake takedowns and throw knees instead. Iay be talking sh*t.

    I hope so. I'd like nothing more than to see some of Conors offensive jiu jitsu. I just imagine Eddie will do a better job smothering him than Chad. Take down defense will be huge for Conor.

    The middle paragraph says it all imo. A thread about a fighter who talks **** and we get excited and either love or hate him we watch. Half of the criac here is the slagging off in a fun banter way and the other half is serious debate which members give good arguments

    Everyone in this thread needs to lighten up.

    Some of it is good banter. Some isn't. In fairness there's a lot of crap in this thread in particular. If anything the mods have been pretty quiet here.

    Did you watch the walk-and-talk he did with Ariel in Philly?

    I was the same as you before that, i just couldn't take to him. But that episode totally changed my opinion on him. Seems a properly decent fella from a tough background.

    Now, granted i hope and expect Conor to knock him out but i'm glad Eddie is getting this payday. Even if he's only on the lowest tier of PPV Points ($1) he should still clear $2.5 million for the fight. That should set him up for life.

    It's mental when you consider it but one fight with Conor made Mendes, Aldo, Diaz and Alvarez millionaires. I'm not saying Aldo wasn't one beforehand but still breathtaking. Nate made more in 1 fight with Conor than he did in his entire career combined. Same now with Eddie.

    The only thing I have against Eddie is his ''beating'' of Pettis,absolute snooze fest fair enough its mma and wrestling is part of the game but that put me to sleep absolute garbage,its funny because RDA backed him up against the cage and it turned out to be his best win in the Ufc.

    I only watched a few minutes of it tbh. There's just something weasel-y about him from the stuff I've seen of him on camera.
    His mic work is terrible too. 'You're a fraud, you've not faced anyone like me before' said with so little conviction he can barely get the words out.

    What if Conor opens with a switchkick or ax kick just to **** with him ?
    then uses his boxing and takes Eddie down and stands back up ? ( i would like to see offensive bbj myself) and then Eddie is nuts to fight him on his feet no ? I think Conor starches him but i also think Eddies cardio is better.

    Conors left just slept Cthulhu !
