    [Pickford-Capoue-Amat-Kone]

    2FTs... only 0.2 ITB

Any suggestions? Few yellow flags in the mix too

maybe downgrade Capoue to a cheap(er) 5th mid and upgrade Antonio to Walcott or Son?

Struggling to choose between Benteke or Costa to accompany Aguero and Lukaku... Benteke scored a hat-trick for Belgium but Costa is Costa.

Benteke scored a hat trick against Gibraltar I wouldn't use that to influence your decision. Having said that I'd probably pick benteke as the save money may give you flexibility for a better mid or better def.

isn't he one yellow away from an automatic ban?

If he avoids a yellow this week and gets one against united he'll serve the ban for a cup game.

Strangely enough, thinking of banking. Am I mad?

    Foster (Pickford)

    Baines Walker Holebas (MacAuley Amat)

    Sanchez Antonio Firmino Snodgrass (Capoue)

    Benteke (C) Aguero Lukaku

Maybe I'm missing something or the international break has changed me but I don't think I'll make any transfers to benefit me this GW.

    Any thoughts?

    Foster / Pickford
    Shaw-Williams-Holebas / McCauley - Amat
Sterling -Sanchez- Snodgrass - Capoue / Marney
    Aguero - Costa - Ibra

    Any advice here?
Have 2 free transfers and maybe looking at Shaw and Williams out for Southampton & Spurs defenders. 0.1 in the bank and 10.6 to spend if I take out these 2

If your thinking long term, try to get a spurs defender in. alternatively (as an arsenal fan) you might prefer a Southampton def. No goals conceded in 5 straight games.

7 games without conceding in all competitions, but who's counting :o

I'm going for a Spurs defender myself (as a Southampton fan)

Don't fancy they're run of fixtures- city, CHELS, LVRPOOL, EVE in their next 6 games as well as league cup and european games to add a rotation risk to a pretty thin squad. Spurs better equipped for increased fixtures in my eyes.

Puel seems to be resting players in Europe so far but there's Inter Milan on October 20th and 3rd November that'll may see a strong team put out, then a possible resting of players before these games, and 'hangover' the following weekend.

If Zlatan is there for the long term with the other 2 then rebalancing Sanchez and Capoue with Walcott and X looks good to me.

    Valdes (Pickford)
    Walker, Baines, Cameron (Holebas, Amat)
    Puncheon, Bolasie, Firmino, Sanchez (Capoue)
    Aguero, Ibra, Deeney
0.0m in the bank....I think I will roll the transfer this week, especially now Baines looks clear to play. Next week I may finally get rid of Ibra and upgrade one of Puncheon/Bolasie.

My squad needs surgery but not sure if minor or major at this stage

Might take a gamble and bank this week I think – tempted to get rid on Valencia for VVD/Fonte but I’ve probably missed the Southampton clean sheet streak at this stage.

Will hold on to Lallana as well – a 4-3-3 might be on the cards this weekend.

Anyway, would be interested to hear what Valencia owners are doing, cheers cm

    Foster

    Valencia Verthongen Baines

    Mane Lallana Eriksen Walcott

    Benteke Lukaku Agueroooo

Jakupovic Capoue A.Smith Amat (0.4m ITB)

Also thinking of holding BUT I don't have vertonghen and am tempted to swap him out for either Baines or Valencia

Have 2FT but relatively happy with my team. Think I will bank again, 3FTs in GW9 would be a nice mini wildcard...

Jeez Kev, you'd think by now you'd know how the rules work. You don't get 3 FTs you silly goose.

Obviously if you roll over again you get a 2nd Triple Captain option for the same week.

He's a beast when he gets the chance but any time I've seen them he seems to not be getting as far forward as last year.

Might just do Valencia to an Arsenal defender and leave it at that. Tempted to go with Mustafi rather than Kos. Like Kos, he's usually good for a goal or two.

Barkley (Yeah...I know) out, Walcott in.

OK Zlatan you can stay. Mirallas to Puncheon. 2FT available next week again.

Worth a -4 to replace with Collins with VVD/Fonte?

    Yes. VVD.

Is Sterling to Firmino worth it given possible rotation despite Sterling training?
