Thinking of swapping McAuley for Robertson (Hull)

Hull have a nice run of games ahead but will they be able to keep any clean sheets?

Their statistics so far say no. In fact they say they could do quite a bit of conceding. Need to improve.

Getting rid of Ibra and want to get Son in so my options are Benteke or Lukaku. Have Mirallas and Puncheon so dont want 2 CP or 2 Everton in attack so who would you rather have:
    Benteke/Mirallas or Lukaku/Puncheon???

Lukaku/Punch since Mirallas is a rotation risk now

(One of my) original plan(s) was Sterling -> Walcott. Kinda makeing up for not having done it last GW and made both points & cash. Son is on tremendous form though, whichever team he plays for. Arsenal immediate couple of fixtures is damn good though.

Is Son form sustainable? Is it Capouesque or is he the new gem of the game?

Much more sustainable than Capoue. A 7.5 mid playing up front for a top 4 team. His underlying stats are up there with the best midfileders. Good chance he's on pens too after Lamela's miss.

In previous years a player like that would be in everyone's team.

    When is Kane back

2 away games and 1 home game before Kane returns and puts a stop to all that is the only problem with Son. I'd say Eriksen would be ahead of Son for pens but don't really know.

Arsenal November is the best guess

He could be the gem this year. I'm still undecided. My impression on Spurs so far is that they would be better if Son and Lamela did not start together although bedding in Janssen and Sissoko and Kane's continued absence clouds things.
The "fight" for the penalty was interesting. Was Lamela in the wrong? I don't know if Poch was asked about it. (Janssen was not on the pitch but Spock could be right anyway,)
Over 10pts per game is not sustainable given that he will be rotated/rested sometimes but who do you drop from your mid?

Ah Sterling for Walcott or Son with one FT?
Nightmare call. I'd roll the transfer atm.

He was asked but didn't give much. Said Kane is number 1 for penalties and they have a number 2,3 and so on. But also said that if a player feels confident then they can discuss between them who takes it. Says he rather players fought for penalty kicks rather than run scared from them.

If I were him I'd be saying I'm the boss and this is the order of the takers and that's that but each to their own. I inferred from what he said that Son was designated but Lamela fancied it.

Is Vincent Janssen likely to start for Spurs?

I know he didn't the last game

Is it just me or does it seems like about 3 years since the last game week

Feel like I don't know my team anymore - a bunch of half-injured strangers with no direction, no guile and no hope.

i was all on for a -8 ibra bolasie baines or Valencia out callum Wilson /deeney, Theo and kos/ bellerin in
    BUT
now I'm almost thinking of banking and reassessing next week!
arsenal have 3 great fixtures but then 2 not so good so a -8 I'm not sure
I can see it's scoring Monday night.......and against a poor poor Chelsea defence .......and I'm just not sold on ANY of the cheap strikers . deeney the pick buy I do NOT want 3 Watford players nice fixtures or not
My midfield is so flaky though shaquiri Antonio bolasie could be 2 pointers or 10 any given week
    and then there is capoue........
I'm so confused there is a very good possibility I'll hold
I wish it was a Friday deadline !

It could equally be that Lamela was designated and Son fancied it (which on the form he is in would not be surprising) but Lamela refused to give it up.

Yes I think that is the more likely sceanario.

Janssen “Nobody was going to get the ball off me though! I had a conversation with Chris and he told me I could take it so I have to thank him for that. Erik asked me and I said I was going to take it. It was normal – you discuss it with the players and I thought it was my chance so I took it."

Eriksen said: ‘I did think about taking it but I think I saw on Vincent's face and his body language that he really wanted it and you can feel for a striker. And it is not as important for me with two or three goals. I was happy for him also and he did say thank you also, so it was a good one.

    Foster--Pickford

    Baines--Valencia--Holebas--Friend--Amat

    Sterling--Firmino--Sanchez--Fletcher--Capoue

    Aguero--Benteke--Lukaku

2FTs, £0.7 in the bank. No idea where to start, if anywhere. Advice appreciated.

Not a whole lot needs changing I'd say, maybe try get some Arsenal defense? Cech or Monreal maybe?

Similarly I was expecting to go at least -4 to try and sort the defence a bit but I think I may bank, especially now Baines is fit. Michael Oliver (4 pens awarded in 6 games) is reffing City v Everton too.

Regarding refs for GW8, the penalty happy chappies are:

Roger East (3 in 3) Middlesbrough v Watford
Michael Oliver (4 in 6) Man City v Everton
Andre Marriner (4 in 5) Chelsea v Leicester
Mike Dean (4 in 6) Southampton v Burnley

Might play heaton so and hope he is fit to save a tadic pen :D

If you were rolling a transfer perhaps an Arsenal or Stoke defender.
Assuming you can't get Cech (for one transfer) that means losing Baines or Valencia. Friend to Pieters/Cameron or Foster to Grant and banking cash to upgrade Capoue next week with 2FTs an option also.

    Foster Jakupovic
    Collins Cameron Van Aanholt McAuley
    Hazard Capoue Antonio Redmond Barkley
    Aguero Costa Defoe

I was going to transfer Hazard for Sanchez but I've read Sanchez might arrive late back from internationals and Wenger has a habit of resting him afterwards anyway, I think? So now I'm tempted to get in Walcott for Barkley.

Wenger had a habit of never resting him after the internationals, and Sanchez had a habit of scoring on his return.

But. Wenger did rest him for the first time after the last break.

So it's anybody's guess this time whether that was the exception or the new rule.

am i insane to be considering a -8 with Ibra and Lukaku to Aguero and Benteke? Exactly enough in the bank to do it. Also am considering captaining Benteke if i do it :D

    edit: done

He has done it before. I'm hoping Austin is on pens.

    Foster
    Williams/Lovren/Valencia
    Antonio/Payet/Firmino/Sterling
    Aguerro/Deeney/Lukaku

    [Pickford-Capoue-Amat-Kone]

    2FTs... only 0.2 ITB

Any suggestions? Few yellow flags in the mix too

If your thinking long term, try to get a spurs defender in. alternatively (as an arsenal fan) you might prefer a Southampton def. No goals conceded in 5 straight games.
