Are we SURE benteke is on pens
Captain choice this week if we knew

You'd want to be very careful round these here parts as to what you're sure of.

That said, I'm sure he will be on penos.

That said, I'm not 100% positive he is.

But yes he is now taking penalties.

Just looking at Mustafi's yellow card stats - 13 in 30 games in la liga last season and 3 in 5 CL games  None so far in PL but that's put me off him.

A good few aboard the Walcott express now. Always an eventful experience.

Tempted to get Walcott on but defence needs sorting. WBA fixtures are very bad.

    Lukaku/Snodgrass to Benteke/Walcott

    or

    Foster/McAuley to Grant/5.8 def

Only have 1FT and need a defender so think I'll go Shaw to Vertongen. I can't afford Walker or Toby. I might miss out on attacking returns but at least I'll get the CS points!

Looks a very strong team and an in-form team.

Used your two FT's very well.

    Thanks. Pretty happy with it.

...was late to the Ibra bandwagon and have a feeling he will start scoring again now that I've sold him but I'll be happy as long as Benteke matches him over the next 2-3 fixtures.

Apologies if this has been asked already, but am away for the weekend with limited Internet access...

Is there any news on Lovren, he was yellow flagged?

I got the impression from the Klopp presser that both Lovern and Clyne would be ok to play.

    Son or Walcott?

Shaw to Zabaleta done. Shaw is not a guaranteed starter now so he had to go.
Hopefully Zab works out. I couldn't really see a 2nd transfer so i will roll my 2nd FT to next week

Defense is in tatters this week.

Baines (away to City), Lovren (yellow flagged and home to United), McAuley (home to Spurs). Amat away to Asenal. Just Holebas ('Borough away) with a nice fixture.

I got Baines in 2 GWs ago with my WC and he did not play for Everton nice 2 fixtures. 'Pool have an extraordinarily nice run of fixtures after this GW. So now I'm wondering if Koscielny is not a better short-term prospect than Baines for a premium def? Or VVD and surf on Saints current run of CS? What do you think? Or do nothing. This transfer will cost me nothing.

I'd get Kos. Can't see Saints great run stretch beyond this GW

    Cheers ;).

Got Kos in for Baines. With the next 3 GWs in mind. Will reassess my options then. Not easy to settle on a defense this year...

My defence is bollixed but what's new there? Did three transfers for a -4 to tidy things up. Or make them worse. One or the other. :pac:

Tried to keep my answer succinct as it was 11.28
That's the change I made in GW7 with Baines injury and upcoming City game.
I hope I'm right about Saints they have very tough fixtures after Burnley but a lot of people getting VVD/Forster in

Cheers for the rapid feedback again ;).

Yeah it makes sense fixtures wise. Regarding Saints, Puel is a coach who likes to build from a defensive solidity. I'm still a bit surprised he managed to settle them that quickly (or at least kept their defensive form going). They're on a great run that could well continue this GW but with City, Chelsea & 'Pool in their next 4 games it doesn't feel the right time for this move.

    Considering a -4 now:

Valencia Baines Bolasie to Walcott Mustafi Smith

Want Theo in my team even though it'll inevitably end up in heartbreak again :o

Well the hit worked out unless Valencia hits a mad score. Might take another one next week to continue freshening things up.
