Seeing as this seems to be the OnePlus 3 delivery thread I will ask here

Are we still looking at 3+ weeks delivery if we are ordering from .ie site?
Would it make a difference if we ordered on .co.uk site or another European site?

Do we really need a blow by blow account of the delivery status ?

Honestly, I think an in depth post like that is very useful. Especially for those of us who are impatient so we know what to expect next with our own parcel. Just my 2c.

Phone was delivered to ParcelMotel in the North today, exactly on time with what OnePlus estimated to begin with.

Hopefully they'll process it shortly so I can collect it.

You're spamming the thread. It's ridiculous. There were other people who posted their delivery updates already, and unfortunately people don't read a few pages back to see if theres an answer to their question so they end up posting anyway.

Your blow by blow posts aren't helpful, they're just spam polluting the thread with nonsense. The only person excited about your phone's delivery is you!

Firstly, this is the OnePlus 3 thread isn't it? A place for *all* OnePlus 3 related posts including the delivery of it? Secondly, calm down. No need to freak or backseatmod for that matter.

If you think I'm spamming report me and let the mods decide/take action if need be. Thirdly, I'm not exactly interrupting any existing discussion going on in this thread with my posts.

I'm posting so that anyone considering this device (especially those going the ParcelMotel route!) can have a pretty exact idea about what to expect themselves when they order.

    Cheers.

Unfortunately I dont see an answer - no matter how well I search the thread. Simply asking if we are still looking at a full 3 weeks before its delivered door to door from .ie website or if we are better off ordering from another domain to get it quicker
If you can point me to the up to date info on this thread I would appreciate it

All other questions I have I can find in the owners thread.

BTW I also dont appreciate the multiple posts about where some dudes phone is - its pointless and not helpful at all
take my word for it - search the thread for the word delivery or delivered and you will get over 200 hits

It is the OP3 thread but your blow by blow posts are unnecessary and spam.

If you think I'm spamming report me and let the mods decide/take action if need be. Thirdly, I'm not exactly interrupting any existing discussion going on in this thread with my posts. Thats because people left the thread and move to another thread because of people like you spamming the thread. Posts like yours do interrupt discussion because people cant be bothered to read through a lot of nonsense delivery posts like yours

I'm posting so that anyone considering this device (especially those going the ParcelMotel route!) can have a pretty exact idea about what to expect themselves when they order.

I also already said "people don't read a few pages back to see if theres an answer to their question so they end up posting anyway. "

Most people have given up posting here as its turned in to a delivery thread. With all your posts I really dont know how long its taken to get your phone delivered as its too mush hassle to go and look back at your full thread of comments to figure it out

From what I can tell you got it in about 2 1/2 weeks

Fair enough, I'll stop my updates and I apologise if it came off a bit spammy. Definitely wasn't my intention. I just felt like a child at Christmas waiting for this phone counting down the days and now I feel like one after being scolded :pac:

I'll consolidate all of my recent posts in a little while after work and again my apologies!

Hey :) I received my phone today! Just in relation to it - I am nearly positive I read somewhere about this but I've done that much research on it, I can't remember the sources:

How do you remove the Google white bar at the top of the screen/Google Talk/Microphone or is it possible to do so?

Many thanks in advance for any replies :)

FWIW I actually think the shipping details are of great interest to people who might be considering buying a OP3 (or OP4). I've actually bought two OP2s, one OP3 and passed on invites to another couple of people who have also bought OP phones and one of the most frequent questions I've heard is 'how long does it take to arrive?'.
A €400 phone is hardly an impulse buy and ordering something like this, sight unseen, from China is something that makes a lot of people nervous, especially if they think they might not see their phone for weeks or even months (if at all).
We all know their delivery timescales can vary wildly with increased demand but anyone reading this thread can see that a the moment they could have their phone in a week.
My son is thinking of buying one but he doesn't want to wait weeks for it, I don't think he'll mind too much having to wait a week for one though...

Found out! "Hold any empty space on home-screen until you see 3 icons and hit customize. Once you see enable shelf, quick search and quick notifications - Swipe right, then you'll see the search, hit "none"."

What might be oh interest to people is something that can help them understand average shipping time.

Instead what we get is a blow by view amount of the movement of a package on its merry little dance ring Europe. Nonsense.

Went to order one last night and delivery was saying 3 weeks even with express. Went back on this morning and the gold one was back in stock, chose priority shopping and says I 'should' have it by Friday. Heres hoping :)

Yeah seems they got some stock of soft gold in yesterday so order times went down. Hopefully they get some stock of the black in early the wait till Oct. 25th is killing me.

I ordered it on Oct 3rd. The shipping date has been stuck on Oct 25th since then...such a pain!

i broke the screen on my one plus 3 yesterday, does anyone know where i can get it fixed? ive been told one plus it self takes 6-8 weeks! kind of need it asap!

Scratched my screen - fell out of my pocket and then got dragged along by headphone wire :( A couple of short deep scratches either side of the earpiece with much more superficial one on the upper part of the screen. I guess I can live with them but might consider a new screen but according to this report OPO might be changing to LCD. If it's true presumably they'll have to keep some AMOLEDs in stock to repair current opo 3s unless the LCD screen could be used instead (I'm guessing it probably couldn't).

Oh and I did have an orzly tempered glass screen protector - had to take it off because dust got under due to the way the adhesive was applied in the factory. Also it was really reflective.

Trying to order the available Gold version for my missus birthday, but keep hitting "Please select a valid State/Province." error.

I have of course entered everything correctly, it seems to have an issue with me seleting my county, I am on the IE shop

Anyone else have this, same on both Chrome/IE

    Try munster as your province.

    Hi,

Sorry scanned back a few pages but could only see stuff on delivery times.

Just going to buy there now but what accessories come with the phone and what additional ones do people recommend buying? I see bundles with chargers etc but surely they come with the phone anyway? Though I wouldn't mind a car charger and phone holder if there was one on the site.

    Thanks.

It comes with a dash charger and it has a screen protector preapplied, but it doesn't cover the whole screen. I didn't buy anything else so I can't advise you there.

I bought one of the bamboo cases with mine but I stopped using it because it didn't really offer any protection. I also bought the OP tempered glass but you can get them online easily enough. You might need a couple of spare USB C cables if you don't already have any but again you can find them cheaper on Amazon (I bought some three packs for under a tenner). I have one dash charger which I leave at home, one car charger in the car (just in case but it's still unopened in the box) and I leave a USB cable in my bag and another in the office in case I get caught out but so far I haven't needed any of them, charging is a non event, it charges up really quick and holds its charge for a couple of days so it's easy to plan.

    :eek::eek:
That's the one thing I am disappointed about with the phone.
I can't get a full day out of it.
Turned off all notifications,wifi,3g when not in use, location and have the screen turned down to %40.
    Great phone otherwise.

I'm really only make a few calls per day on it, a bit of Whatsapp, and a fairly steady stream of emails with a little bit of browsing the web, twitter etc and I can go for a few days without charging it, I have nothing turned off.
I used to charge my phones (work and personal) overnight to get the full day out of them but since I amalgamated them into one phone I don't even have to do that, I let it go right down and give it a quick charge, or if it's lowish in the morning I'll put it on charge when I have my breakfast and it will be good for the day.

Prob a stupid question but I ain't as tech savvy as some of you folks. Iv been having issues with my wifi since this arrived a few weeks ago. I've tried to search through the thread but nothing jumping out!
Mainly when I'm at home wifi symbol at the top will have an '!' and nothing loads. Have to turn wifi off or airplane mode then. Iv tried changing to 2 or 3G incase it's my location but no good. Never had an issue with previous phones on wifi at home but this has me driven mad.
    Any help appreciated. Thanks

    What broadband do you have?

Thats happened to me at home on my last few phones, also happens on my laptop and tablet. In my case its the router dropping the connection and I usually have to reboot the Router to get everything reconnected.

I do not know your phone or your wifi connection but I had a Samsung Galaxy Note II a few years ago that had a bad wifi connection it drove me crazy in the end I sold the phone and got the OnePlus One. So it may be your phone has a bad wifi connection but it may also be your home network.
