Better off with one of Paul Galvin's creations I reckon....this man clearly knows his fashion, I think this image speaks more than an infinity of words ever could.

The Bal in Salthill is closed right now. No sign on the door. But there's a real estate agents sign saying "to let licensed premises" on the building that I don't think was there before.

    Yes

I'd be surprised if both lasted in the long run. In my mind that's quite close together but I would be more likely to stop in occasionally at the new location. That said, both DID and Currys are increasingly useless as their online offerings don't reflect what's in the showroom. The whole point of those stores is for me to look at appliances before I buy them elsewhere for less.

Was talking to the manager. He made it sound like it was always planned to just be there for the summer months.

Was chatting to one of the staff this week. They're taking over the Men at Wok premise, and focusing it as a takeaway (with the availability to sit in and dine, of course).

Facebook page for the new venture.

That would be great news. Being it has quite a few fans I'm glad they're expanding to takeaways. I tried them once but didn't feel they were better than Lana. But I would welcome the opportunity for a rematch.
