Still on about that I see, despite being proven wrong about that in the past.

Just because they are a Loyalist band doesn't make them bigots. Maybe in your weird little world it does but that doesn't really count I'm afraid.

They participated in a march to commemorator a loyalist killer the same day as the game. Did no one in the club not think 'hang on a sec here?'
Then again maybe they did and went ahead anyway, pandering to that element of their support

The hypocrisy in this thread is once again astounding.

After your fans engage in what is basically 90 mins of anti-Protestant bigotry the most important thing is to come into a Rangers thread with nothing else than whataboutery, and it doesn't matter if Rangers fans on here have already condemned songs, banners,...

Same old ****, every single time. And none of you seem to realise it.

And then you wonder why we don't constantly respond to your 'BUT WHAT ABOUT RA BILLY BOYS' crap ? Answer: Because it doesn't matter to you, at all. But once your own clubs gets in a negative spotlight it's the perfect way to divert attention.

Someone could come out with a 5000 word long post about how embarrassed he feels about songs or banners, how he wish the fans would just drop it,... and the first response to that would be 'LOL bigoted zombies innit new club rabble rabble rabble'.

Seriously wtf did you regard as 90 minute anti bigotry?

Oh and go back to post 7839, it was you that brought the whole subject up in this thread having a go at celtic, dying for a response and you got one.

Hanging a doll with an orange sash, Kill all Huns (and don't give me that bull**** about how it means Rangers fans), DOB being sung to Warburton for several times during the game,...
And the fact that some of your own fans condemned it is good, but I don't believe for a second that all of them do. Which brings me to that post you mentioned. It wasn't done because I was 'dying to get a response'. But the fact you took it as such says enough.

It's crystal clear that I was right. When I posted that it was because I had seen that the usual suspects were in the Celtic thread spouting their 'huns this, orcs that' crap, before coming in here with their standard 'BUT WHAT ABOUT YOUS!'

You can't have it both, despite trying really, really hard. Coming in this thread constantly asking 'BUT WHY DON'T YOU CONDEMN YOUR OWN FANS :'(:'(:'( is pathetic since pretty much every Rangers fan in here has done so in the past (and on numerous occassions) regarding songs etc, yet it just goes straight over your heads it seems.

    Absolute horse sh!te.

The behaviour of Celtic fans that were out of order Saturday was roundly criticised in the Celtic thread and deservedly so.

I'll say it one more time for you, they are pondlife and should be ran from Celtic park.

The hypocrisy is here, calling for bans for Celtic fans with nothing but excuses for the equivalent.

up to our knees in fenian blood - sure that's not the same thing at all.

Inviting a loyalist band who marched in rememberence of a secterian murderer the very same day - is it actually illegal though.

The list goes on and to be fair the majority here don't make excuses for that stuff, just one or two.

I'll say it again in case you missed it, those who engaged in secterian behaviour Saturday have no place in Celtic park in my eyes.

Once again you seem to be seeing things that aren't there. Who is making excuses for what ?

I'll say it again, because in your haste you probably missed it:

Rangers fans in here have time and time again said that songs like TBB have no place at games, yet you lot keep bringing it up, clamoring for apologies ? What for ?
Only reason I can think is whataboutery.

Well i dont for a minute accept that using the term hun refers to protestants like i think you are suggesting?

Most Rangers fans in here like most Celtic fans in our thread will unreservedly condemn outrageous behaviour, you on the other hand just dont.

At least not as bad as claiming someone dressed up as a KKK member during a Rangers game, and then disappearing when called out on your bull****.

I've done so in the past, I have no need to constantly repeat myself to the same people.

Has Joey Barton been sent home from training after a training ground bust up?

Did you actually type that with a straight face?

If you believe that then you are to be pitied.

My god what a poisonous load of bile on here. No talk about football whatsoever the last few pages.

Yep, rumour is that he was talking down to one of the youth players, Miller took him up on it so he stormed off.

Before the season I hoped he would bring necessary experience with him, after his **** performance last weekend and this he can leave for all I care.
As for 'being pitied', it may shock you but I couldn't care less what you think of me. Just like you probably don't care what I think of you.
    Can't say i've noticed tbh.

    Not my problem, tbh.

According to what I am hearing it's a bust up with Haliday that's been simmering all season and Barton lost it today. If try no sympathy get rid quickly

    Edit:it's definitely Halliday

Probably engineered for Halliday to provoke Barton so that Barton can be taken off the books to save some much needed £££ now that the 3 bears have realised that they are not going to romp to the treble this season :pac:

When is the next statement? this could be a record week for statements

Never happened, uber Loyalist Halliday would never call someone a F B

Sorry the parade they were part of is not illegal

    I never disputed its legality.

That band marched in honour of a secterian killer the same day they were invited into ibrox.

If you think that is anything other than disgusting at least be man enough to say it.

They have no place at a football club just the same as the people who hung the sex doll effigies don't.

Your club celebrating this behaviour is disturbing. You defending this action is disturbing.

You made excuses for the lads who smash things while screaming about being up to their knees in fenian blood.

I note that others regularly condemn it, and shy wouldn't they?

My point is that you are a hypocrite, you claim that behaviour isn't as bad as what we saw in the other end of the ground Saturday.

    Celebrating violence. Check
Said violence is sectarian in nature. Check

On what grounds is that behaviour less scummy than the banners/sex dolls?

The term "Hun" is synonymous with "enemy". It is not synonymous with "Protestant"
To claim otherwise is nonsense and only done so to suit your own agenda to paint Celtic fans as sectarian.

Really pathetic must do better it's funny how this continually changes among your support. You do know that even if it were true it would be construed as a hate crime to have banners proclaiming KAH etc. But it's not it may well have been at one time the same as Fenian referred to anyone of a republican persuasion and now that it is now see as an abusive term for an RC

We keep bringing it up because it happens at every single game, home or away.

    Hun
    hʌn/
    noun
    noun: Hun; plural noun: Huns
    1.
a member of a warlike Asiatic nomadic people who invaded and ravaged Europe in the 4th–5th centuries.
    2.
    informalderogatory
a German (especially during the First and Second World Wars).
    Germans collectively.
    noun: the Hun
"millions of boys were eager to go and fight the Hun"

    Fenian
    ˈfiːnɪən/
    noun
    noun: Fenian; plural noun: Fenians
    1.
a member of the Irish Republican Brotherhood, a 19th-century revolutionary nationalist organization among the Irish in the US and Ireland. The Fenians staged an unsuccessful revolt in Ireland in 1867 and were responsible for isolated revolutionary acts against the British until the early 20th century, when they were gradually eclipsed by the IRA.
    2.
    offensive
(chiefly in Northern Ireland) a derogatory term for a Catholic or Irish nationalist.

Only one of the two terms is secterian in nature.

Although I agree that at this stage as Hun is now perceived to be secterian it should be dropped but it's worth pointing out that the origin of the term Hun was a reference to the lads destroying all around them in Europe.
