Can't argue with that result, defence is a ****ing joke.

Kiernan and Senderos both had a mare. Lost count of the number of times that Kiernan gave the ball away and Senderos' handball was just plain ridiculous.

To be fair up until the handball Senderos was coping in the main considering he had just been thrown in but Kiernan was way beyond ****e MW needs to sort it

At least the responses in their thread can hopefully once and for all do away with their mock outrage about a song, or the pretence that some of them are just coming in Rangers threads (the same people they call huns and orcs) to have a 'normal discussion'. And it also shows some of them up for the hateful specimens they are.

Spot on mate it's pointless trying to reason with them

You lost any argument you might have had right there, that's called hypocrisy.

As for the blow up dolls, has everyone on the Celtic thread not condemned it? I think you're intentionally misreading the thread.

You can't whinge about that and then sing about "being up to your knees in Fenian blood".

Calling some of your fans out for their bull**** on this forum isn't hypocrisy, it's fact.

But hey, if the shoe fits.

Not they have went round the houses saying it was brought up because the toilets were trashed.
As for Hypocrisy really hanging effigies of Rangers fans Execution style and having at least one banner with KAH on it along with the usual DOB chants then complaining about a song ( that I don't believe should be sung) now that's hypocrisy.

The hanging blow up dolls was condemned by every Celtic supporter on the Celtic thread. Personally I thought it was very distasteful, the sort of thing that you'd associate more with a bonfire at an orange march. Maybe they thought they were parodying that sort of thing, wasn't very clever and most Celtic fans, all of them on this site, didn't like it one bit and condemned the display regardless of the meaning behind it.

Here's rangers supporters with a similar display with blow up dolls a few years back,
    xojsr8.jpg
That wasn't on suicide prevention day though, doesn't excuse what happened Saturday btw.

There's banners that your lots' supporters brought on the day that were distasteful as well and they wrecked the toilets. I think your outrage may have been tempered somewhat if your team didn't get battered 5-1.

Bet it got accidentally deleted. ;) No matter, I'm sure they'll be showing Eastenders or something suitable instead. :pac:

Think I'll wait to see if there's a box set, chances are there might be a few more days like Saturday coming soon:)

It'll certainly be out before the "Rangers League Title Victory" DVDs anyway.

Really poor response from Celtic FC to this and whilst having no Celtic fans at Ibrox for the foreseeable future will take away from the atmosphere, I think it's quite likely to happen for the game at NY. The display on Saturday was blatantly sectarian, far worse than anything I can ever remember at Ibrox, even in the dark old days and the fact that it was World Suicide Prevention Day, made it that bit more tasteless.

I would have liked to see the club condemning those who smashed up the toilets in the away end in the statement they released. Let's hope they can be identified and banned from attending games in the future.

Will clips of the dolls hanging be included in thos DVDs? I'm getting the impression that some of your lot are not overly bothered about them.

I can see the veins in your neck whilst trying to be uber offended at blow up dolls whilst the rest of the Rangers support indulge in singing up to their knees in Fenian blood. This is extraordinary mock outrage, 2nd item on the STV news behind Cameron resigning!

Firstly, banning Celtic fans will not happen. It's in the rules of the league that your club would have signed that you must give the away club a fair allocation.

Secondly, what has World Suicide Prevention Day, or suicide in general, got to do with the the stupid sex doll stunt???

Celtic fans were banned from Ibrox for a game in the early 90s, when Macari was manager I think

    You're faux outraged!
No you're faux outraged! I have the real moral high ground!
No you don't, clearly that's mine!

Aren't we glad the old firms back (No! It's not called the old firm!) so we can act like weans, defending poor behaviour with even poorer excuses for weeks on end?
Pointless, tribalistic bull**** where seemingly intelligent people allow themselves to get dragged down to the level of people they'd normally cross the road to avoid. All because they can't bear to see their nonsensical ideological attachment to a ****ing football team shown to be illogical.

Just can't be arsed with defending the majority of actions discussed over the last few days, from toilet smashing to banners, under the 'yooz ur wurse than uz' arguments.
If the majority of decent minded folk could manage to focus on realising that none of it is acceptable, then maybe we'd get somewhere.

Rangers fan or Celtic fan, it makes little difference. Scottish football is a mess, and the fixtures between the two are an opportunity to bring some passion & excitement.
I'm not expecting fans to be perfectly behaved, but talking about them for days after the fact is dreadfully boring.

1994, after they trashed their end the season before.

Banning them all won't happen, but reducing the allocation and as Club1872 mentioned c*nts like the Green Brigade not get tickets ? All for that.

There's no doubt there's plenty in the green brigade who are absolute goons and they proved it Saturday morning but calling them ***** shows you up badly.

You would never bring yourself to say the same about the lads singing about being up to their knees in fenian blood while smashing the place.

Should rangers away fans be banned too?

Don't worry Barca tonight have a good chance of easing your burning rage, hold on for a few hours.

Wouldn't it have been refreshing if there was some dialogue between the clubs and they issued a joint statement on the matter/s or none at all.

Instead we get the usual up the ante to distract from the on field failings. They've trotted out the same craic the last 3 major defeats (and Celtic have done it in the past too)

The actions by (a minority in) both sets of fans was poor and I wish both clubs would just get on with trying to ban those responsible.

I couldn't care less if it's generalising. That part of your ground is the one with the effigies, the hun scum banner, the Kill All Huns banner,... Calling them out for what they are makes perfect sense.

It's an organised group that has done it in the past, so banning them makes perfect sense.

If that's then reciprocated to Rangers fans then so be it.

Small point but worth noting is that it wasn't that end of the ground hanging the effigies but some of their banners at the game were almost as bad if not worse

But calling out the billy boys is beyond you?

I'm not engaging in whataboutery by the way. any Celtic fans engaging in secterianism are *****, and they were out in force Saturday. They aren't welcome in Parkhead.

Ijust find it a joke that a section of rangers fans want it both ways, ban Celtic fans while defending/ignoring/applauding/participating in equally appalling behaviour themselves.

Same old, you say you're 'not engaging in whataboutery' but that's exactly what's happening.

When have Rangers fans pretended to hang not just Celtic fans but for example Catholics ? Because one of the dolls had an orange sash, that's far more sinister than 'just' a Rangers scarf (which could be explained by the football rivalry). Or for that matter, when have Rangers fans ever shown a banner with 'Kill All Taigs' ?

What happened at CP last weekend was far more sinister and evil + on a whole other level than singing about being up to your knees in blood.
