Is there a low pressure area developing over the west? The line of showers appears to be bending back in on itself west of Mayo on the Met E radar.

Nothing here a few miles to your east!

Biblical rain and thunder in Navan during the past hour. I was in Gaylord's Indian restaurant and one of the thunder claps was that loud I thought something had crashed onto the roof. My wife says that she saw the glasses quiver at the bar area during each of the claps....

this unsettled weather is introducing much higher temperatures over the next 4 to 5 days, could be something to do with it.

tomorrow will be 16-19C but should be decently warm Monday-Thursday for time of year, part of the east could get up to 25C on Tuesday/Wednesday.
