I always prefer Bastic starting over MD.

Not sure Kev Mc deserved to be dropped for Mannion. But Mannion supposedly flying in training.

And great to see James McCarthy back.

Happy enough with that selection, other than I'd have Paddy Andrews in before either Mannion, or Kev Mc. I just think he offers more over all, as well as a maturity & lack of me fein-ism, that could really matter down the stretch. Hopefully it won't & we'll be home & hosed by then.

I agree, a big game player, but Mannion looks strong this year. But Andrews had been a forward that had produced and kept us in games for periods of time when others offered little

    Be tough I'd say .

Yep. Paddy Andrews has no flashy goals on his career highlight reel. Paul Mannion does, including one against Kerry in an All Ireland final. But those 4 points that PA kicked in the Mayo replay were just as important as all the goals scored. He doesn't get any where near enough credit for it. He also partners up very well with Bernard.

I'll eat my hat if thats not a dummy team.;)

No way Mannion has forced his way ahead of Kev Mc and Andrews on 7 minute cameo V Westmeath and 15 minutes v Donegal. Don't get me wrong he's done brilliant alright and he'll be good off the bench tomorrow. But if he was second choice to those two in the quarters he's still second choice imo. Especially considering Kev Mc had such a good game last day.

Yeah I have my strong suspicions about the Kerry team also.

Gooch over O'Sullivan at 11 doesn't make sense to me.

    Good win for the ladies
Just watching the interviews at the end, Dean Rock was out practising frees with Sinead Ahearn last week, her point in the dying seconds won the game

Fantastic finish too the women's match with Sinead Aherne, scoring the winning point with,10 seconds left on the clock.Great composure from her, from what was a difficult angle. Over to the men,now too follow suit and book there place as well in another AI Final.

I don't foresee any more rain for the remainder of the day so everyone will be dry. That's always a good start.

Just back from a 10k run* to get those nerves out of the system.

(may not be true. Possibly still in bed)

I read that too, it was part of the Stars 12 page pullout on the game that took about 5 minutes to read.

I said Nidgeweasel will be on he'll spin that article into an All Ireland, he's the Rumpelstiltskin of these boards.

Sorry it's in the green bin now.
He just spoke about how he'd wind up Cluxton, Flynn and Connelly, that he use to ring Connelly on Saturday nights and scream at him, that Connelly had blanked him on twitter and blocked his calls. Then he went on about Kerry like most stuff this week.

Ah they would have interviewed a few of the Dubs if they weren't busy doing ads for SuperValu or King crisps or having the northside lads do mundane tasks on the southside and the southside lads doing mundane tasks on the northside in the name of banter. ;)

Just on the McGee thing. I thought it was a disgrace. When you go beyond the lines the lines of the pitch its really a malicious act. Shows little or no regard for the person behind the blue jersey. I can see how torrents of abuse like that will lead to a tragic incident soon.

It said a lot about his own state of mind too.

Thankfully a block call feature addressed it.

Reading McGees article just makes me think he's a sad bast"!rd. Obviously had zero life outside an amateur sport if he was driven to do that on his downtime.
    Weirdo

Weather is warm and dry here at croker, hopefully stays this way for throw-in. Liquid lunch ordered to help calm the nerves.

Have a feeling we are going to put in a serious performance today. All the talk is how Kerry are waiting in the long grass but this team really love beating Kerry and I hope we can add another notch to the belt today.

"Well, yeah, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"
