It'd be hard to know where Pettis goes if he were to lose this fight.

I think he is regretting ever signing

Wouldn't shock me either. For the good of the sport of MMA I hope he gets finished quickly. I wouldn't be surprised if he is carrying a few injuries into the fight aswell. His body is ruined from Pro Wrestling and I doubt he'd pull out given all the heat he'd get.

Ya know, it'd be interesting. He'd make big money there. Their lightweight division isn't exactly stacked. He'd be a big player.

I doubt they'll cut him. Especially with the 'exciting fighter' preference.

Most definitely, it will be his one and only fight but I dont really see Gall mounting to much either and I am sure both careers in the UFC will be forgotten about quickly enough.

If Benson wins the title they can have Benson v Showtime again and have Pettis take his title again :pac:

Bendo was losing that fight before that injury last night. To a FW fighter normally too.

They've both been incredible on the feet and on the ground. Insane technique.

I know feck all about MMA really. I watch the McGregor fights and other Irish fighters in UFC and the odd one here and there.

Just saw this thread on the front page so decided to stream the main card.

I must say I thoroughly enjoyed that fight!

That was class. Glad to see him "back".

Unreal fight. Great win for Pettis, Oliveira is a beast and was a bad match up for him. New contender at 145, potentially great fights with Conor and Aldo. Can't wait.

If Pettis had half decent takedown defence and boxing he'd be near unbeatable. Love watching him.

Edgar's his worst matchup, he'll hake him down a gazillion times. I wanna see Pettis fight Conor and Aldo, that's 2 unbelievable fights right there.

That's a terrible matchup for Pettis IMO. Edgar's biggest strength is Pettis' biggest weakness.

I actually think they'll do Pettis against Cub Swanson next.

145 is such an unreal division. Love it.

Say what you want, lots of fights for Conor here.
