Pettis v Edgar anyone???? In New York???

That's a terrible matchup for Pettis IMO. Edgar's biggest strength is Pettis' biggest weakness.

I actually think they'll do Pettis against Cub Swanson next.
Oliveira is better than Cub (I know Cub beat him), Cub is past it. Barely beat that ancient Japanese guy. Let me see Holloway vs Pettis as a contender fight and Aldo vs McGregor for the title.

I think Maia takes Condit down with ease.

Thats quite a gap in his skill set though. Conor would wreck him, hail mary sub his only chance.
LOL, come on now. Pettis has never lost a stand up battle, and Conor isn't taking him down. It would be a great fight.

I love Condit's walk out music. I'd like him to win for that alone.

I just think Maia is going to put on an absolute clinic on the ground.

Can he finish him though? I think he needs to, early. He'll get tired after 2-3 rounds and if he does he's getting knocked out.

2 great guys, I'm a fan of both. Think I'll root for Condit though.

Pettis vs Holloway would be a cracking matchup, winner gets a title shot vs Aldo ( I don't think Conor goes to 145 again )

He lost the striking to Barboza and RDA, his hands are pretty bad McGregor would kill him at that range.
Barboza, fair enough. That guys a freak though. RDA took him down at will which won him the fight. If Conor could get inside he'd be at an advantage but Pettis can bend you in 2 with a body kick. They could both stop each other early.

Beautiful technique and well deserved for Maia, he has been on a great run

Now what do you do? Woodley v Maia or the title eliminator route between himself and Wonderboy?

So many intriguing fights at the top end of 170.

Has to be Wonderboy. Tell Nick and GSP to feck off (and I'm a massive GSP fan). As an MMA fan, I wanna see Wonderboy inevitably KO Woodley, then see him fight Maia.

    Maia is sick.

    Love watching him.
