Frank can give you as ass kicking early in the game if you aren't prepared, the game is much easier afterwards though!

It was indeed. Three switches in the bins to open the door. I can't remember if you had to press them in a specific order. It's been years since I've played Pokemon red.
I should remember because I watched the Summer Games Done Quick running PKMN Blue in reversed badge order only like last week. I think it is a certain order, I'm too lazy to check for sure lol.
Check the bins anyway and stick with it, I found it a bit tough at the start but eventually when you're strong enough the battles just auto end. You can add ketchup to burgers for extra health I think.

All that talk of EB/M3 I had to go binge on the ost and the vocal songs.

I hope they get stuck in someone else's head too! :pac: . Definitely want to pick up the vocal CD sometime, already bought enough goodies for myself this week though.

Hey, I came across some cabinets of Time Crisis 2, SCUD Race (with the US title of the game for some reason on video), Le Mans 24 Hours and Final Furlong 2 at the West County Hotel today when I was going up to the Fleadh. Ahhh, to come across such games in a more local establishment is always a joy.

Feckin love scud race and le mans. There wasn't a home release of scud race was there?

No and it was Model 3 as well. Very few model 3 games got released and Sega dropped it pretty sharpish for Naomi.

In other news I was looking for model figures to help me do some pixel art and now my google adds are full of weeaboo shit.

I never heard of that game before lol. I could only think of Sid's dog from Toy Story.

Hopefully I'll give it a go sometime if it's not that far from me :)

A Scud Race track or two turn up as bonuses in the Xbox port of Outrun 2, which is probably as close as you will get.

Anyone see that RAGE are now taking One4All vouchers? The spike in foot traffic post-Christmas is gonna be something, I'd imagine.

I did! It's great, I never know what to get with them. Thankfully haven't gotten one in a few years.

I don't know how many of you follow speedruns, but Skater just beat the Ocarina of Time Any% record by 11 seconds. Just an incredible run, and it can still be improved. This game is continually being brought to new heights with the tricks and glitches found, simply amazing work...

Was listening to the Dariusburst Chronicle Saviours soundtrack last night, you don't really appreciate until you listen to it outside the game. It's very 'jazzy' behind all the electronica with some incredibly complex percussion I can't quite get my head around. Catabolism from the soundtrack might just be the best thing Zuntata have written, it's from the Dreadful Whip boss battle if you want to check it out, the music publisher keeps pulling uploads of their music off youtube.

Just looking for the game there on the PS Store and it's only available on mine for the PS Vita, not PS4.
And yet the DLC says both and the US store has both.
    Please, post a link!

    Edit: Found it!
Wow though, €60 for a game on PSN, a little steep, no?

Yeah the price is the only annoying thing about the game. I got it on PC and it looks great on a 21:9 screen (although it's still bordered since it's a 32:9 game in the arcades). Maybe someday I'll have dual monitor set up.

I thought it was worth full price just to support the release of these kind of games, I mean it's a miracle it ever came out at all. It's also packed full of content with some fun licensed DLC based around old Taito and Sega games. You basically get the arcade version which would be worth it on it's own and a new single player game that is optimised for 16:9 screens. It also makes a great multiplayer game, there's quite a bit of strategy with multiple people from what I saw from the crazy Japanese players in Akihabara.

It will probably get a price reduction soon but I hope they keep releasing crazy stuff like this.

Are Nintendo points for the DSi/Wii store still working?
I have 6000 points here, unused, the last legacy of the great Tesco Game Rush of 2015.

Nope, and the redemption systems are gone too. Those are just useless slips of paper now!

I'm pretty sure that only the DSi one is closing; after sept 30th it won't accept anymore points and closes in Marcj. I expect they will give plenty of notice when it's the wii's turn.

    Is that usable here?
I presume it won't work on a local PSN account, but a free US one will do the trick??

I was thinking of getting Okami HD, and I don't have a few of the others, though Remember Me was a PS+ title last year.

Yeah, you'd need a US PS account to redeem the codes, though you could probably set up a free one on PS3 or the PlayStation website and redeem the codes there

Actually didn't even think of that I assumed it would have said something like it did for the 3DS one. I think most people have a US one too and if not its not hard to set up just to redeem that stuff. I did it once with a promo on Japanese psn years ago. I'll give it a try in a few minutes on my EU one and see what happens

You're right Man of Cider, gave it a test and it's US only, I just have a regular US account and it did work. Some games are only on the US store anyway so handy to have.
You also have a choice for Strider and Resi rather you want it on PS3 or PS4

Got a letter from FedEx today asking me to confirm the value of a projector screen I had delivered from the US a week or two ago.
Anyone had that before? Should I tell porky pies or go honest Steve? :)

I presume they'll look for proof of whatever price you give them, be it an invoice or whatever.
