strathroy increase by 1 cent to 25.2 inc vat

A good price relative to the other coops, is that paid as flat rate or at a base of 3.3% protein and 3.6% fat?

    Point out her flaws please

Looks like theirs Oman in her, lovely cow not debating that, but for every cow like her that breed high ebi stock their is a heap more that wouldn't hold a candle to that cow/breeding...

Great to see the price rising with most buyers. :) 4c more before end of year would really help

I don't know if the 1.5 has a vat element in it but assuming it has the price for July would be c. 24 including vat.

24c including vat and 0.5c quality bonus. Not sure what this is as the normal quality target bonus is 0.4c for scc, tbc, etc. So assume this is just for the month

They're paying more than Glanbia actually
2c of glanbia's price is not glanbia's money at all,it's the farmers share money that they're trying to cod the farmer into thinking is price

They're after pulling a nice stroke too clawing back fixed priced money, the scheme 5 price of 32 cent is now down to around 27 cent , also clawed backed money payed out from fixed price schemes in the previous months....
Theirs noting simple with the scumbags, a few lads are down 4000-5000 on their July cheques and glanbia never so much as sent a letter/text about adjustments to fixed price schemes/retrospective claw backs, really bad form, probably lads in a situation now where cheques/dd's are going out and their going to struggle to meet them

Is the customer which ought to match that fixed price scheme volume also paying less for the product? Or has all of that gone out the window in the excitement?

I'd say it goes straight back into siobhans pocket, also linked to input prices like fert/feed etc so when they drop in price so does your fixed price milk, in real terms on phase 5 milk their was a 2 cent drop in price down to 27 cent plus vat was at 29 plus vat for June milk, it's funny how they waited till they rose milk price to implement the cuts probably hoped lads wouldn't be to put out

21 cent including vat, this latest stunt with the fixed price milk now means they're after alienating the last group of suppliers who where somewhat reasonably happy with them (lads with a nice chunk of milk fixed)......
Realistically they need to get their base price up past 25 before January our their will be serious disillusionment among suppliers

They're looking like Fonterra now. Setting a price then readjusting it and getting farmers to pay them back.

Pr 3.46 butterfat 3.96 scc 210 tbc 21 price 25.46. Arrabawn was sure with co op report I was in the too 23% in yield and 10% in butterfat. Cows haven't been milking well here due to large number of heifers, reduced meal/fert

This is where the MSA comes in handy, at least for Glanbia.

I'd say if they reduced it it is fully inline with the terms outlined.

They have a good bit of milk bought at 29 cent up to the end of 2018.

I am just wondering what they will come up with to stop a mass exodus when the msa is up.

Do you know many farmers-apart from Glanbia board members - who are happy with Glanbia? Alot of the yes people around here are totally fed up by now

That's easy. They'll come up with a scheme to give you a big fist of your own money providing you sign up to a ten year indenture. They won't worry about a mass exodus. There are plenty of us too far from the border to have any real options.
