I'm addicted to AliExpress, I use my Visa card with their escrow service, and all the suppliers seem to do their own shipping.

Be prepared to wait, and buy from sellers with positive feedback. A bit like eBay, really.

Anyone here have any experience buying from AliExpress?

I never bought from them before, so Im a bit wary. Could you answer:

Q1. Any thing I should look out for when buying?
Q2. What payment method do you use?
Q3. Are items with "Free Shipping to Ireland via AliExpress Standard Shipping" fulfilled/sent by by AliExpress?
    Thanks in advance

You have many question Mr sparkle lol

It's kinda like eBay just look for seller with good feedback and a can't go wrong, they take PayPal and also you are covered by a buyer's protection thingy, be prepared to wait a while then wait some more lol and it's generally free shipping by me so Solly it's late post

Thanks. Would this item delivered by the supplier or AliExpress? Because it says "Free Shipping to Ireland via AliExpress Standard Shipping"

Thanks. Not in a long time, I did when I was a teenager :D

But, wouldn't you have to use the visa card no. so you wouldn't be protected by Paypal?

It'll be China Post, or Hong Kong Post, or whatever. Why?

They have their own protection thing like PayPal which ensures that you're protected something along the lines of 45 days from purchase , you see what I mean when ya buy there

When I saw "Free Shipping to Ireland via AliExpress Standard Shipping" I presumed it was fulfilled by AliExpress. You said suppliers seem to do their own shipping, so I wanted to clarify if that was fulfilled by AliExpress or the supplier. If it was by AE then I presumed that I wouldn't have issues with it being shipped (as I assume it would be like having something fulfilled by Amazon).

Aliexpress don't sell anything or fulfill anything it's all done by individual sellers as far as I know.

Tbh if you're looking for a case for the op3 you're better off going with Amazon. Anything you buy off Ali won't be here for a month unless you use parcel motel which takes away the cheapness on there.

I cant find a screen protector I want on Amazon as the Orzly only comes in black :(

Ill get a case from there as well since they're much better than the ones on Amazon

Playing with the phone the last few days. No issues so far. Battery is very good. Charges super quick. Very happy. Just waiting on cases to arrive, have the Orzly screen protector, it fits very well.

So, I fit my Orzly screen protector yesterday.

This evening, my phone feel out of my pocket while sitting in the cinema. It fell maybe 6-8 inches onto the wood at the back of the seat.

I then noticed that the screen protector was broken/shattered just underneath the fingerprint scanner.

On one hand, I'm glad that no damage was done to the phone, but I can't help feeling that the phone wouldn't have been damaged at all as it seemed such an innocuous drop.

Anyone find that their protector folded under minimal pressure? Or should I be thanking my lucky stars that I had it on?

I think its all to do with the angle it drops at. You could probably do that 100 times again and nothing would happen. I've had phones fall out of my pocket when cycling and not break, but others have broken falling off the bed onto soft carpet.

Dropped mine flat in our hallway onto lam flooring.

Yes I think the phone would have been fine. Yes I think the Orzly is ****e tbh.

    21 Euro wasted.

It was small drop but whole top have shattered it its incredibly brittle rubbish.

Phones fine but I'm adamant it would have been fine without.

Gorilla glass isn't brittle. This stuff is ridiculously brittle you can actually feel how brittle it is when installing it. It just feels ultra breakable.

I'd rather a screen protector break then over €100 to fix the screen, Dafuq is wrong with y'all

I think you are confusing something here, The falls that the phones took would easily have been handled by the Phones own Gorilla Screen, Which means the Orzily screen is an expensive brittle piece of crap.

I fully believe its designed to break extremely easily. And folks like yourself will think awesome it saved my screen. When in fact is 20 odd Euro down the drain.

My phone would 100% of been fine for the fall it took, why ? because i dropped the phone 3 times before i even put the Orzly on it and it was fine, twice on concrete.

Sounds like you could do with a big protective bumper case to be honest.
