Take them where? Let's say you fill a plane and send it to Egypt, Egyptian authorities say the plane can't land, now what?

Then you land in the next country over and organise a bus to send them home, or you threaten them with economic sanctions. They'll sooner accept 40,000 of their citizens than have the EU strangle their economy.

I thought this site was moderated. Irish Trajan's comments constitute shocking incitement to hatred. I cannot believe they are being allowed to stand here. I am sure that among the people dead from this horrific attack, there are innocent Muslims and Christians and innocent people of no creed at all. I am really quite upset that in the wake of such an appalling event this poster can have such free reign with his hate speech.

Not really sure what's more concerning; the rise of radical religious nuts around Europe, or the foaming, keyboard radicals (you're just as bad FFS) posting here.

Isn't their an age limit on boards?

Anyone else watching the news from Nice? Some lunatic drove a truck into a crowd of people celebrating Bastille day. Several people are dead, according to various media sources.

mod: I've had to remove a video showing terrible things. Please don't post anything like that. Consider the fact that people are not prepared to deal with videos of the results of an attack.

Over 80 dead now, another 50 or so injured of which a couple of dozen are in critical condition... so sad because those victims where as innocent as can be.

Nothing as of yet to suggest it was islamic extremism even though some are all to quick to jump to that conclusion.

Actually, if you've studied history, you'd realise it has worked. Very often. What doesn't work is closing your eyes when there's a threat and hoping it goes away.

Can you give us few examples.

I apologise. I don't know how to do that.

Incitement to hatred? I've not called for them to be attacked, I've not said we should bomb them or shoot them or stab them. I've said we should deport them. That's not incitement to hatred, I'm not hating on anyone. I'm offering a solution to a problem.

A problem that just saw men, women and children crushed into the gravel because some prick decided today was the day.

They're trying to be oppressive against a religion they deem as oppressive. It's the biggest pot calling kettle black that I've ever seen.

No problem, for future reference, see the warning triangle under the profile on the left hand side, just click it and report it, and a mod will come have a look.

From what I've read Isis are about to lose their Caphitate. They lost Fallujah and are being pushed back. The Kurds are close to cutting off their supply routes and ability to sell oil which will bankrupt them. They will be finished off soon enough. No need for the west to throw away the very ideals we are supposed to be for.

Don't you get the whole point of all these false flag attacks are to take away our freedoms.

Let's have a quick tally of today. So far the people posting here have killed... None. Religious nuts have killed 80+.

Quite sure you can extrapolate from that which group you should be more concerned about.

On a side note the amount of utter cretins posting on this thread is simply mind boggling. From the completely stupid, round em up and deport them ill thought out, to the blatant racist, kill em all ideas and everything in between. How you people manage to get up and dress yourselves in the morning is a mystery to me because you don't seem to have much in the way of grey matter between your ears.

Yes, it is scary. But what I personally find terrifying is that people are absolutely willing to condemn over a billion people because of the actions of a few.

IrishTrajan is utterly hilarious by bringing up people on Godwin's Law, while simultaneously sprouting nonsense that would be utterly at home in Nazi Germany.

Oh right. Well, I'm not that poster so I have no idea why you brought that up in response to me. I did no condemning of a large population of people.

And if the next country refuses? Also not all 40k will he Egyptian you will have people from about 30 or 40 countries, should we stop trading with them all?

That would ruin our economy long before it ruined theirs, you seriously need to start thinking before mashing your face against the keyboard in anger.

Nothing as of yet to suggest he was muslim, so keep the hate preaching to yourself for now

So we can associate all Muslims with radical terrorists.

But to associate the Irish with the IRA, why that's just outrageous.

Don't fall off the head of that pin you're dancing on.

I'm Irish, I was born and raised here. I can't suddenly become American tomorrow If I want to.

My mate Tariq is Muslim, he was born and raised a Muslim. He can become a Catholic tomorrow if he wants to.

    Your argument is ridiculous.

    More concerned about, sure.

But if you're being serious (I have some doubts) then the views that you hold are representative of something that is also very much to be feared.

Read back a few pages. They will be given the choice to abandon Islam or abandon Europe. The choice is entirely up to them.

So as an Irish born Muslim, born of Irish parents with Irish grandparents, where exactly would you be deporting me , my Nieces, my grand nieces and nephews to exactly???
Because I will not be compelled to deny my religious beliefs because of the ignorance and bigotry of others!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,166 ✭✭✭Tasden

Can I just thank whoever it is that came up with the idea of adding an Ignore feature? You're a sanity saver.

I know a few Muslims and every single one of them has adapted into the Irish culture, some with even Irish spouses, while keeping their religious practices and customs. The idea that these people should be forced to give up their religion or leave the country is utterly disgusting.

My black muslim friend speaks more irish than I do. She gets asked where she is from and she answers "dublin" in her flat dublin accent. She texts us all at christmas wishing us a peaceful Christmas and we do same for her when Eid comes around.

If that is what is required.
That would ruin our economy long before it ruined theirs, you seriously need to start thinking before mashing your face against the keyboard in anger.

The EU has an economy of over $18.5 trillion, we make up 20% of the entire world's economy. Do you really think cutting trade with North Africa is going to cripple us and not them?

Well last night in France, none.

So that's why collective punishment is grand for one category and not another? Because of the ease with which one can change religion over citizenship?

That makes a whole bunch of sense...:D
